Very handy bit of kit , I can see the roadside assist people getting these for their service vehicles . It did not sound like it had a pressure switch on the pump , having one would be a good idea .

I have a 85 John Deere 1250, 49 Ford 8n, 75 Case 470 front loader, and a 89 Ford 455 backhoe. All of these are fairly easy to fill with a snap-in funnel (or a small neck) and a regular diesel can or jerry can. Although I do have a hand pump unit on a 25gal tank strapped to a dolly lol.

There’s another cost effective item called a ball syphon pipe only costs a few quid and doesn’t spill a drop of diesel
