I used to skip the first few minutes of talking because I just wanted to see the draws, but more recently I really enjoy hearing Larry and Paul share their thoughts. Would enjoy a podcast by the two.

Finally we found some cards after all this time. I’m trying to branch out more with where we do Larry in the hole. What are y’all’s local card shop and where?

Larry in the Hole is a pack opening series where the highlight is Larry’s commentary and his personality. If most pack opening channels tried to talk about other things not yugioh related most of their viewers would just skip over those parts. This series shows how entertaining Larry’s stories are.

This should be called finding the holy grail yugioh.

I don't even really play Yugioh or collect it, as I'm more a pokemon tcg guy; yet Team APS is so appealing. Very calm, wholesome and chill to watch. Great video.

That sports tier list was right on!

This is becoming one of my bigger favs as a video series as the casual talk is great! Sports is up my alley as I watch and play it as much as TCGs. For me with the sports you named, S tier for me is baseball/softball since I'm the type who loved playing it, still got a bat and glove, and watch my Toronto Blue Jays and even went live to games. A tier for me are football (I played it and watch both NFL and CFL), tennis (used to play until I wrecked my ankle in training 1 season, watch it sometimes), Soccer (a friend got me back to watching it more often and I used to play it), B tier is basketball (watch the Raptors and internationally but I sucked playing it but used to have a friend I played it anytime he wanted), volleyball (the anime Haikyu got me into it a bit more and I used to play it), and C tier are golf (suck at it even mini-golf, rarely watch), skateboarding (same deal as golf). Being in Canada I also have hockey which for me is also S-Tier (played goalie and defenceman, still watch the NHL and my Montreal Canadiens). Doing ranks for TCGs as I played a ton, Pokemon is S-Tier for me (used to work as a Gym Leader with Gengar as my calling card and I still play it), A-Tier is Yugioh (wasn't as good competitively but I still love my Legendary Ocean deck with many variations as right now am trying Ice Barrier and Ursarctic builds, as well as a Dragon deck and a new Divine Beast deck as I got the Slifer structure deck recently and already had Obelisk), and Magic (still got my Elves commander deck and unlimited Vigilance Enchantments deck) and B to C tier would be games I still got cards for but don't play much since it's hard to find players for (Transformers, Gundam War, WWE RAW Deal, Sailor Moon, L5R, Duel Masters, MLB Showdown). Thanks for the tips as I got back into Yugioh recently and happen to come across your RU-vid channel!

As a Pokemon player, I can tell you that they've never let the og starters hit the nostalgia train. They've been pushing them to the forefront so often that people are just sick of the Charizard treatment, and want to see something different. Anything different. Just no more hard-on for Charizard!

I’d watch Larry talk about sports, anime, or finances in addition to yugioh. Also it would be interesting to see a comparison with other tcg to see which on average breaks even or better in $40 of product

So I binge watched all the previous episode of LITH after discovering them and honestly my favorite part of the videos is Larry just walking around Target or Walmart just telling stories. The card opening is a nice bonus but the stories are why I return.

being from brazil, it's realy funny to see you say that football is low scoring. It's easy to get a big score game when you count from 7 to 7 and award 3 points for a almost good offensive campaing. Handegg is fun, don't get me wrong, but is way harder to safely play with your friends at full capacity. Football is the most played sport worldwide cuz all you need is something to call a goal and anithing that resembles a ball. lot of love

As a guy who plays Pokémon TCG we never get enough Blastoise or Venusaur it’s always the Charizard show and that shit gets old.

Larry is awesome - I wish ya'll were near my store to see him, sometimes for these vids sometimes for him responding for shoplifting asshats I caught 🤣 About the sports cards - they were getting scalped so much, scalpers were opening the vendor product in the backroom and such and one day a scalper pulled a gun in a Wisconsin Target parking lot - so Target decided to end that 😂

I don’t know if it’s part of the Larry in the Hole Challenge, but the other day I found a copy of the Rokket’s Revolt structure deck at my local Walmart. It’s one of the structure decks I wanted but missed out when it first came out and it’s now pricey online. Only had to pay $10. I call that a win 😁

I think there should be a bonus amount. Any pack that Larry just says NO or is the most " trash " should be purchased as a extra deduction if a super rare card is pulled you have a second counter for that money

My own tier list American Football: B tier great fun to watch and play but gives way too many players life-long injuries International Footbal: A tier great fun to watch but the fans constantly destroy your town Basketball: S tier hands down, great to play and watch and doesn't destroy all its players or venues Baseball: D tier it's a good community game, horrible to watch, nothing to get worked up over Golf: D tier play it by yourself or with a friend, wrong context for watching people sink balls into holes Tennis: S tier easy to understand, great to play and watch Skating: C tier great to watch at first, then becomes a waiting room to see who the next prodigy is Yu-Gi-Oh: -$$ tier you'll never get all that money back

as a brazilian, your Soccer description was the funniest thing in the world haha. At least you placed it over fake football, but i do understand why the low scorelines may have you bored when you grow adapted to other stuff

I had money to burn this week, so i built and bought an Evil Twins deck that uses morphing jar 1 and 2. It's probably my favorite casual deck so far, the 4400 attacker is pretty busted since i can special summon my lil-la link monster for more board removal (Unchained Abomination is also pretty stupidly strong) and the fact that i'm constantly sacrificing children with this deck is hilarious to think about.

I haven't bought a pack of Yugioh cards since I was in 7th grade in 2003 (now mainly stick with Pokemon if I buy something). But I really like watching this channel

Talking about soccer ( we call it Football here) i think its just like if you are Born in europe or some where else then the U.S ,you will make your first contact with it in your early childhood. Its like you get infected with it. So its most likly S Tier everywhere else. When germany won the world cup in 2014 i had no voice for days and cried in tears

I've only got a little pokemon TCG knowledge, but I don't think there are archetypes like in Yugioh, so cards like Blastoise or Venusaur aren't meant to support the ones that came before. It also has rotation IIRC, so that theme of long-running card series is very much a Yugioh thing

Does anyone know what Larry's situacion with all pulls? The thing why I like this segment is that it is true. I mean, it's not 10 boxes were opened, filmed and then only those with an amazing pulls were uploaded. This is how the real situation actually is when ripping those boosters, boxes, the probability.

Low scoring means higher reward. Basketball it's scored every few seconds. A goal in football (soccer) is ultra rare where as a basketball score is a common vanilla
