We spent two weeks volunteering with the iconic Tasmanian Devils and lesser known spotted tail quolls and eastern quolls at Cradle Mountain. What an incredible two weeks we had... we had so much fun learning about these amazing animals and their unique personalities. We hope you enjoy watching! 💙
A massive thank you to Devils@Cradle for having us. If you're heading to Cradle Mountain make sure to give them a visit!

Hey, welcome to our RU-vid! We are Lydia and Wehan, high school sweethearts who made the crazy decision to sell our house and quit our jobs so that we could go on the big lap of Australia in our self converted Sprinter van. 🚐

You two are beautiful people wow -- I love watching your photography , great shots. Have never heard of a Quoll and thank you for teaching this old girl something new. The Tasmanian devils don't look like the cartoon LOL I had no idea they were nice and wouldn't eat me wow TV doesn't do them justice. Thank you for the trip and stay safe and have a great day :) Mad love from the east coast of Canada !!!

Thank you so so much for the kind words! 💙 Right?! The cartoon gave us all the wrong impression 🤣 So glad you enjoyed it. Fingers crossed we'll make it to Canada one day, such a beautiful place!

Such an excellent video, guys! I love your love and enthusiasm for and about animals. I also learned so much from your discussion - stuff that was never even on my radar! As always, your photos and cinematography was beautiful. I sincerely appreciate the effort and love you put into each video. Oh! Happy New Year, L & W! Best for 2024, Lauren 😊

Oh thank you so much, that's so kind of you! We've absolutely fallen in love with all of the wildlife on our lap of Aus and it was an amazing experience getting even closer to these amazing animals. Fingers crossed there's a lot more wildlife experiences in the future for us. And happy new year to you also, we hope you enjoyed the holidays! 💙

Yes, I did know about Devils and Quolls. I also knew everything you mentioned about them too. I really respect your decision to help and muck out. What a precious experience. I loved the filming and connecting you both had with these special lil Aussies 🙏

I visited Australia in August 2022 and had the opportunity to visit Sydney's zoo and I saw for the first time Tasmanian devils. They were so so so very cute. They looked like tiny dogs. So cute. Loved my experience at the zoo. I stayed a couple of hours to see their platypus, but he slept in the pipes the whole time, sadly haha.

They really do look like little dogs! 🐶 If you had no idea what they were and saw them in the wild you'd probably be so confused 🤣 Ah what a shame you didn't see the platypus, they really lived up to their elusive title for you!
