After so many years of undergrad and medical school, I finally start my first job as a doctor. Residency is something I have always looked forward to and I can't believe I am finally doing it. This week we had orientation and received our long white coats. I can't wait to take you all along with me on this new journey through residency. Stay tuned, it's going to be a wild ride!

Eat well! Sleep well! If you can’t work out as much, you probably get in your steps at the hospital. It’s like you said, “The most important thing is you are happy and healthy!” Vacation time will come!

good luck on your residency!!!! I just graduated from veterinary school & started my first real adult job and it is such a crazy transition having actual patients and responsibilities now 😳 but I love following along with RU-vidrs in human medicine (mainly you and Rachel) because so much of it’s relatable still! There are many who do it without, but I do recommend finding a group or friends who are sharing the same goal. Reach out to your schools health advisors!
