In this episode I'm gonna take u all to Surabaya and meet up with the Indo Club of Surabaya. As much as there are abandon colonial houses from the Dutch East Indies era in Surabaya. there r still as many elderly Indos in Surabaya. Those Indos who weren't able to move to The Netherlands after Indonesia's Independence 17 August 1945 because they lost there birth certificate and couldn't proof they were "European Citizens" or simply were too late to fill out their application. Every year when I'm in Indonesia I always stop by in Surabaya and meet up with the Indo Club of Surabaya to support a handful of elderly Indos and give them financial aid that will help them to buy medication and nutritious food, funds received from the past Charity Events hosted earlier this year. I met with first, second and third generation Indonesian Indos and believe it or not, some of them still speak Dutch...
