We stood our ground but SPUN around! A tough night at Eriez Speedway 

Very wise words. There was a time when this track had sanctioned series of different classes run here. Empire Super Sprints, Big Block Mods, World of Outlaw Late Models, just to name a few. When the new owner bought it the place went downhill. Greed and Neglect chased some of the best in the country away from here. P.S. Scott Bloomquist himself w ran here once and when asked He said "This track is the Biggest piece of Sh😂t I've ever been on.

It was draw/redraw. The top 3 cars from 3 heats redraw for position in the feature. IMCA tracks do this most of the time just running heats and features, no qualifying.

Top 10 redraw is extremely common in the north east started about 2010ish. I can confirm that it’s standard at Eriez. All the nearby tracks in that region do a redrew. There’s 9 tracks all within 2 hours that do it. Although it makes zero logical sense and no one can justify it with any facts or data. Trust me that 44 doesn’t need to make up rules to win. He’s at like 300 feature wins between mods and late models, multiple World of Outlaw wins, dozens of championships, set fast time at the Dome this year. There was a few others at that caliber too. They wouldn’t play Chase like that.

Scratching this dump off the list would be a very wise move. They are Biased against anyone who's name isn't Hess or Blair. The previous owner years ago before He passed away would have welcomed the Holland family with open arms, let them set up camp and give them at least 5 or 6 laps around the track prior to the races starting. The only thing keeping this place barely alive is the dedicated dummies lining up at the grandstands gate 2 hrs. early because of the sheep mentality they were taught from their sheep parents.😂 I'm so glad there's other tracks around that race Friday & Saturday.

Eriez was never paved. Not to far from there they had made a paved track Lake Erie Speedway which is now defunct. That track gets confused with Eriez.

Not true at all. All tracks in that region do a top 10 invert. Eriez, Stateline, raceway7, Freedom, Smothport, Bradford, etc. like I said before if you really think they needed to give someone like Dave Hess (the winner) an advantage then you don’t really know much about statistics, national drivers and Top rated latemodel drivers in the country. Dave has nearly 300 feature wins in multiple classes including numerous World of Outlaw wins.

@@ChrisS-oo6fl I guess you took my comment more seriously than expected. Never heard of a 10 invert for weekly racing what’s the point of winning heat races. When did Mr. Hess run USMTS or with Lucas Oil LM? I get it he’s a local hot shoe in PA every track has one.

The winner of that race is a multiple World of Outlaws winner with about 300 Feature wins in multiple classes and countless championships. That track and it’s sister track is home to Chub Frank the original dirty dozen world of outlaw member, featured in cnn with Bloomquist. Dick Barton the first ever non touring outlaw driver to win an outlaw race a title he held exclusively until another driver from that track also won. It’s also the home track to last years Lucas oil rookie of the year and former Woo rookie of the year Max Blair. Lucas touring driver Boom Briggs. Multiple Late model Hall of Famers, multiple Woo rookie contenders. Multiple woo winners and multiple drivers featured in woo’s article on 2nd place local finishers and best performance. It’s also a home track to Brian Rhulmam multiple Eldora modified and latemodel champion and UMP star along with other notable UMP traveling stars. There’s many more touring drivers all from that same track and region. They didn’t need to “cheat”. They always do a redraw regardless of it makes sense. All the tracks in that region do it every night, every week. It’s posted on the board. Unfortunately they should have told chase about it because he’s clearly a visitor. I’m a supporter of chase but that 44 was going to win that race even if chase had started pole . That’s just a fact due to home track advantage, talent, and years more experience. Dave’s won more races then chase has yet to attend. The other Dave in that race has won more features then chase has won in both late models and modifieds. Hess aired out B-shep in the rocket house during Rockets most winning season at Stateline then turned around the next night and almost ran Shep down after starting dead last at that very track….Eriez. If I’m not mistaken he won multiple modified races that same weekend. He just finished top ten at the Lucas race at nearby raceway 7 after starting back in 21st.
