Exactly! I love the family dynamics and wish this is something my family could do but we are now scattered between IL and MN. I remember growing up chatting with my dad about how we could all live close knit on a somewhat large property and raise a market garden and animals. We would all have our jobs. So it's amazing to see what I thought was only a dream be working so wonderfully for a nice family like yours!

This is Leon from Elk Grove, California. I notice your brother and is picking Concord. Grapes using a clippers. Well, I pick grapes for 2 years and we used the knife. That's kind of hooked for cutting carpet. Where's a lot faster than using those clippers? Just thought I'll let you know I appreciate your veggie boy's a lot

I think carrots and onions are a bit touchy to grow. Was a good season this year for once. Do you have a personal garden, that you grow different things then in the fields.

Just a little comment from France, I'm not sure you can make a palatable wine from concord grapes, and other stocks may have a difficult time adapting, check out Thomas Jefferson, he was a pioneer in making wine in america

should defoliate around the clusters and remove secondary shoots once the fruit is set and going into veraison. then defoliate again around now to deter fungus. if you defoliate before fruit set you have a chance at losing berries. i work in a vineyard in PA, we grow 8 varieties of wine grapes. its a looooot of work, lol.

It’s always I joy to see your videos. You do SUPER job of editing and keeping them interesting. I’ve been viewing your older videos and it really shows you have become more relaxed talking on camera. Thank you for information on invasion of insects. Also nice knowing someone has to be trained on what to look for and how to get rid of them. Lots of behind scenes work farmers must do. It was added bonus of Callie watching Grandpa.

Well I certainly get it about onions. I have happily grown them for years near Heathrow Airport in London but this year we had intense downpours at the end of July. I checked a few and found they were waterlogged! I looked further and discovered rot was setting in so I pulled the lot out of the ground and removed the outer affected layers. Now I know if this weather comes in I have to cover them with tarps.
