Carole lives with retrograde amnesia and refers to herself as "the most sophisticated three-year-old you will ever meet". Her lack of conscious memory means she has a fresh perspective on the world which she uses to her advantage and to the benefit of others.
Carole believes that living with the aftereffects of a stroke is challenging enough but without personal goals and a vision of a life beyond the challenges it is even harder. Life is no longer the same and we are unable to do things the way we used to. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t do them it just means we need to find another way.
Carole lives at the intersection of Hugs (HUG is an acronym for hearing, understanding, giving back value), Sparkle, and storytelling. She combines the flavours of everyday life with the wisdom of experience (hers and others) and her signature SPARKLE Methodology™, adding a sprinkling of wit and creativity to the mix.
