My mom purchased this system and the difference in the taste in the RV is incredible. Her 5th wheel is kept at a campground she visits weekends. At the end of the first season the cap of the pre filter developed a crack that created a geyser, thankfully she was there when this happened and a neighbor came to assist. Has anyone else had this happen? She is working with the company to resolve the issue.

I love your videos and this one was really informative. I have been using my Dirtguard for over a month and was shocked when I saw the sediment on the filter. This filter will put less stress on the RV carbon filter. Safe travels and keep sharing your videos. Thanks.

I saw your shirt with the fire emblem on it. glad to know you. I spent 30 years in the service. I retired a Captain. Oh yes great video, sure wish they had this system when I was RVing. I sold my unit. My wife died about three years ago and preparing the RV just took too long for me to get ready, I sure do miss it though

Wow! Just found your channel and really appreciate you taking the time to make the video! Since the pre-filter is a 20 micron and the in-line is a 1 micron, I'm wondering if using the Aqua Crest 5 micron in-line filter inside the Clear 2O and then attaching the Clear 2O 1 micron via direct to the Aqua Crest or via short hose extension or 4 foot hose will allow us to remove the whole-house filter (those are typically 5 micron filters) that we have sitting in a stand (we have a travel trailer with no wet bay). The key is to see if the Aqua Crest will fit in the pre-filter housing! Thanks for the great video! Certainly sold me on the clear 2O setup! Cheers!

Was your water pressure affected much by the solid core filter in this?

Not much but it will slow as the sediment filter gets dirty. Just lets you know it is time to clean

Hi Jaymie i keep the water presaure NO Higher than 60 psi. You really want to protect your RV plumbing from over pressure.

How high do you set your water regulator? I use same set up and set my shut off pressure at 60psi and the water pressure inside is poor compared to my rv built in pump that has the same shut off pressure and a run pressure of 40PSI.

I keep my regulated pressure to 60 psi. When the filter starts to get full or ready for changing I do notice a pressure drop.

I have bough two of these and am not impressed. They reduced my water pressure significantly after using to fill my tank twice. I replaced the first one because the housing on the pre-filter cracked. Glad you have had better luck, but I will not be buying a third one.

I have this sediment pre-filter and it does not do anything. It seems to be pure junk. I stay at an RV camping site and my water still comes in brownish from all the sediment. Not only that, I had the inline filter on it and it got clogged almost instantly. I noticed my water all of a sudden stopped. Went to check what was going on and no water could get out of the inline filter. Biggest waste of $60 I have spent.

@@TheHungryCubanAdventures I did there are claims, but not to what standard or who did testing. I spent my working life working to sets of standards. Claims mean nothing with out that.

The Clear 2o filter system used to be good but the quality has taken a serious nose dive. The last 3 filters have only lasted a few weeks. The Dirt Guard lids break. My first one lasted a year. I assumed it must have been dropped. I ordered another and in 60 days the lid cracked on the new one. These are installed AFTER my pressure regulator and the new one was only used on a water tank with an RV Shure Flo pump. These filters are NOT cheap and having to replace them all the time is frustrating. Not to mention a waste of water that could run for days if not noticed. I don't recommend them at all.
