We Took a 22ft Bay Boat OFFSHORE and CAUGHT this PRIZED FISH!

We had some amazing weather and flat calm conditions last week and decided to take advantage and head offshore. The goal was to catch the most prized fish in the Gulf of Mexico, the Red Snapper! the fishing was extremely tough but we got lucky and managed to hook into a keeper 15 inch snapper (state water regulations) at this near shore rig. I brought it home, cleaned it up, and made a delicious meal out of the fish. Make sure to stay tuned for the catch and cook part of this video! Thanks for watching!

Offshore is accessible to many Bay Boats, just gotta pick and choose your days. 40yrs ago fishing the Gal Jettys in a 16' Glastron and we decided outbound was where we needed to go... Never did it twice.😂 "Tight Lines and Full Limits To Ya"

Wasn’t planning on going offshore, was just gonna fish the bay but it was too flat not to go! Even Tried to catch bait at the jetty before heading out and couldn’t get a bite with shrimp On bottom! It was an insanely slow bite! Lol. Thanks for watching!
