Boys get used to it, Ange ball will always be a bit scary especially against half decent teams, superbly taken goals by the lads. A real blood and thunder game and for those that might think we only need 11 decent players to challenge around the top 4, think again. Players are dropping like nine pins, we need a thoroughly decent SQUAD ! It is futule to talk about if they did this and they did that regarding any game, we might also add IF SONNY scored a hatrick things could have been different ✌
this is my 5th ride on this train (ME, BR, YO, CE and now TO) , and now with my beloved Spurs. Happy new year from down under and may 2024 be lily white!
@@stephen2992 Yeah we have been riding our luck, but not on our injuries it all balances out. At the start of the season you could could have picked out Maddison and the 2 Centre backs as most important players, yet we LOST all of them to injuiries that is unlucky.
@@stephen2992 this happens almost every year one of an Ange team, hi style requires a certain level of fitness, you either make it or are cut. Trust me it will irone out. especially if Levy is not too stingy with the checkbook. Ange year 1, breaks a lot of hamstrings.
That Lo Celso performance was one for the ages, the last time I remember a performance that good from a single player was Kane away to Man City under conte. That was incredible from Lo Celso.
Really? I thought he did ok, nothing more. We were under constant pressure in the first half at home against Bournemouth, that can’t be a performance for the ages by definition.
@@listonheinz9103he is the main reason why we didn’t lose complete control, his main man in midfield SARR coming off after 20 minutes. Then Hojberg and Skipp alongside him. Didnt hinder his performance at all. His work rate off the ball, his touch on the ball. That assist for Son’s goal. I can’t speak highly enough of him today. I’m usually a critic of his. Also Bournemouth were unbeaten in 7, winnning 6 of those. Arsenal coming off a loss to Fulham, don’t take it for granted. We beat a very good side today.
@@jimmycosco5373I’d say Pierre was the difference today. He steadied the ship when he came in. Lo Celso was off it for an entire half, but better in the second half. Saying his performance was one for the ages is going overboard as I see it.
Everytime Spurs player scores through assist from Johnson, i always feel so good, like the similar cross against Everton, he did it today and Richie had to put it behind the net. Also i am beginning to fall in love with how Bryan Gil plays, the attacks and forward-mindedness makes him one of the kind, definitely if he is given more opportunities he is going to be a dangerous winger. Happy new year Spurs funs.
Structurally the role bissouma plays is integral to playing out. But I thought we did well apart from some really wayward - albeit adventurous- rushed fwd pass attempts. If richy scored after half time different game.
An an Aussie Rules fan, hamstring injuries are a big part of our sport - a lot of our top teams send guys with bad hamstring injuries to a world renowned German expert (can’t remember his name off the top of my head). Ange is a big Aussie Rules fan (Carlton Football Club), so I’m sure he would be aware of this fact.
Veliz and the bench thought it was something minor only to realize it was a real issue. Also, Spurs had used all the subs, everybody thought Veliz was going to run it off. Hope its not a serious injury coz Spurs finished off tge game with 10 players.
Skipp is not good enough. He needs to go. Dier definitely needs to go. Son's chance was very difficult one due to ball was bouncing high. He tried to shoot the bouncing ball while running in full speed. Son created 3 big chances for his teammates but got no points from it. If Son gets the kind of pass that Rich gets, he will score more.
Good to see you starting with positives and wanting players out, we have lots of them available currently. What is it with our fans slamming our players. Hopeless really.....
Udogie and lo celso outstanding and even though im not a fan royal did a good job. Cant understand what anyone sees in skipp, very limited player who we need to move on. Delighted with result, perfect end to year with the scum losing. COYS
Look, we won. Take the 3 points. We’re not going to win every match beautifully, you just have to win things even if it’s scrappy - especially times like this when the players are gassed from the number of games during December. The boys can get some days off to recover and have a go again. We got Bentancur back at least to help ease some of the pain from injuries/absences.
Udogie was MOTM, covered for cb’s think Hoijberg & Skipp help control Bournemouth a bit to commit fouls and disrupt that middle and we rode our luck. But happy with the win 😅😅😅
GLC and Ben Davies have to stay. Both have now stepped up and performed in almost every game they've been in. Plenty of depth for that no.10 role between Maddison, GLC and Kulu. Dier, Skipp and Hojbjerg though I don't see a future for.
Skipp came on with the Sarr injury and we immediately lost control of the midfield. That's what happened after the first 30 minutes!! We cannot keep using Skipp as he is useless!! Same with Dier... not even on for 2 mins and we conceded a goal!!
No it wasn't, Sarr scored in the 9th minute and was taken off in the 32nd minute, he felt his hamstring whether it's serious or not we will have to wait and see.
The final score definitely flatters Spurs. What an amazing miracle, to be up at halftime! Bournemouth deserved something from the game, no doubt... Udogie saved Emerson's blushes... MULTIPLE TIMES!!! And if Emerson & Dier never put on a Spurs shirt, it will be too soon! COYS!!!
Chill out there are a good number of the lads that clearly are NOT good enough for quality required for Ange ball. Give Ange time to sort it out and he will, until then all hands on deck including the B team, cannot fault the lads effort and that is a positive !
@@wefinishthisnow3883 Pace is useless if the player cannot read the game, if he hesitates on & off the ball... Emerson Royal has made so many errors again, this season, that with a more capable defender we would now be sitting top of the PL. He is a liability, like Eric Dier & Hugo Lloris. I pray that all three players will be moving on, in 2024. COYS!!!
@@TooDarnSoulful The game was turgid again, for long stretches... reminiscent of the Conte era, at Tottenham. Indeed, I am still wondering HOW we managed to take all three points vs Bournemouth... Every witness in that stadium knows that Spurs were second best for more than half the match... even at 3 : 0 there was still concern, that we might falter -- especially when Eric Dier came on as a late substitute! Did you notice: how Dier & Emerson were predictably woeful, on the Bournemouth goal? Vicario must be pissed. COYS!!!
Why are spurs fans so mentally stupid they have got so many quality players out and they have two centre backs playing centre half still they win the game and get 3 very precious points from the most in form team in the Epl at this moment and yet they are moaning and calling their players out when they should be commending them for their efforts even great players make mistakes in a match sometimes even ones that lose their team the game but some fickle spurs fans even slag their team players after a hard fought win do these fickle fans look at the table and where spurs are they are only 3 points off being top of the table it's these player's you call rubbish that have kept your team in this position even though majority of your best player's are out on long term injury and don't forget suspensions and yet you still moan and moan I don't think you deserve a manager like ange you pathetic moaners you deserve conte .
Enjoy all the comments but all the arm chair managers saying this or that player needs to go. I’d say just be happy we have numbers, the standard will slowly increase each window but we should get behind everyone we have
The drop in quality when Skipp came on for Sarr was enormous. Bournemouth dominated for a huge chunk of the game and if the finishing had been better, they'd have been up 3-1.
Tottenham are still stay strong ! Sonny’s support play and great finish . Same time , what Tottenham Levy going to do ? It looks Tottenham’s Levy’s reactions are not strong enough …. Angie want to keep going to wining,- it’s ultimate clubs final goal , isn’t it ? But , what is Levy’s ideas for club ? only to be made clubs profits ?
The reason Spurs have been conceding goals after scoring is that opponents sit back at first, but after conceding a goal, they come out and start pressing, and the current Spurs squad with all the injuries can't deal with it.
No way giving younger players a go, Ange needs to go full strength against Burnley, I don't want to see another Fulham episode, I've waited over 32 years to see that FA Cup lifted.
I wonder if I'm the only one who felt it's working properly now that Klusevski is missing. Of course Richarlison isn't perfect yet, but it still feels like it's working properly. The defense will be more complete when the injured return, so I think Klusevski is the main culprit for ruining this teamwork.
Honestly have you watched any of the games this season? I haven’t seen something so absurd without Kulu we would be 10th. He works so hard and we would of won so many games without him forest beign an injury example
Kulu has the occasional off-game like his disasterous game against Wolves and poor showing at West Ham, which is to be expected with the amount of running he does. He lacks a touch of pace which can slow the attack too much when counter-attacking, especially against high press teams. But he often makes up for it with his physical game, fitness and off-ball work which is world class. Also his pace matters a bit less in the middle than on the wings, so he seems to perform better as a 10 or an 8. Ange likes that he brings something different to the table (like his tackle in the final 3rd against Brighton last week that led to a goal) as well as his versatility.
Son was pothectic even though he scored these last few games he has not helped the team and is causing us to lose chances when we get near the goal anyway come on you spurs (i think son will get better )
U are blind. Son is finding players in around the box today. If it wasn’t for Richies poor finishing, Son would had atleast an assist with his goal. Fans like you always think that because of Son’s speed, he should take on a man like Mbappe. Watch the game while trying to activate your pea brain
Son never gets any credit. Not helped the team? JFC!!!! Even today, you could say he wasn't at his absolute best, he still created chances, made several crucial key passes, should have gotten an assist for the pass he made to Richy, and got a great goal with a world-class finish. Everybody who agrees with this comment needs new sets of eyes or something. Brighton was the only game where he was poor and in that game everybody was poor. It's incredible that sonny doesn't get the appreciation he deserves, after ALL THIS TIME of being a fucking legend. fuck me.
No disrespect but son has been shit last couple weeks just because he gets a goal which most Poeple could of scored with his chances today makes him have a good day
are you fucking kidding me I swear to god. How many wrong statements can you make in a sentence. if most people can score from the chance sonny scored from today every team in the prem would be scoring 100+ goals.
Really, topping the league in goal contributions with 4 goals and 4 assists, being the team’s biggest chance creator is “shit”? You miserable pricks always need something to moan about.
They're trying to get Todibo, but Nice just can't afford to let him go just yet when they're the main contenders with PSG for the title. Dragusin deal sounds like it's almost done though which would be a huge boost, especially with VdV scheduled to return for Manchester or Brentford. I fear VdV might be the injury-prone type though and Romero's a card collector, so if Spurs are going to be in Europe, they're going to need to try for Todibo again in the summer if Utd or Liverpool don't snatch him first.
