The garage was not CGI. The studio built the garage and flat bedded it to the film site. After filming was done, studio tore it back down restoring the property to its original state. Funny story behind "Torretos" house, the driveway actually belongs to the house on the right however the movie made it seem as if the driveway belong to the house on the left (Torettos) along w the garage. To this day I have no clue why they did that. Dodger stadium advice. If you want to go and get shots DO NOT let the gate guard know. Say you are headed to the Gift Shop. You have to be super quick w the photos, security or on site PD will kick you out very quick as no vehicles are allowed to stop unless otherwise parked in a marked spot on the entire property. Once you bend the first corner and turn right you'll see exactly where the view point is. Again, be super quick w the photos lol

Dude flies in, goes for a drive and on the same day gets pulled over and told 10 days to obtain a ca licence. That limit is for when a person is moving to California. Not visiting California. I was so bummed. My wife and I took a road trip from Washington all the way to San Diego for our honey moon last July. On the way back from San Diego we stopped in LA to see the Toretto house and sadly they were filming something in front of the house, so I couldn't get any pictures of me, my wife and or my Charger in front of the house.

They probably think since the car stays there most of the time and people like Dave have drove it around...even pulled over in it..that Damon is there all the time now...to my knowledge he's usually there about a week at a time. But as long as the car is registered out of Canada and he keeps a Canadian address...there isn't much they can do...let's hope anyways! ✌

Rob... did you respond to the right post there. Either way it’s a beach cop, look at the emblem. Doesn’t make it fake just because it’s not LAPD. Also, where I live within the same jurisdiction we have city, county, multiple different type of state cops. Those entities have numerous different badging and vehicles depending on the specific unit. Who knows where he was and if he was in an overlapping jurisdiction area or shared services city. Only dde know for sure, but I would almost guarantee with near certainty it isn’t fake given the officer, car etc...

The fast and the furious ruined the race scene in Los Angeles. Cops cracked down sooooooo hard after that movie came out. I remember the night it came out everyone went to the street races after watching the movie. Unfortunately the cops planned a perfect sting. They blocked they all the street races get to the most popular spot. Then they blocked off both ends of the street so everyone was locked in on Gleanoaks with no where to run. They towed everyones cars. They even had mechanics walking down the lines of cars marking which cars where modified with illegal mods. They towed over 300 cars and gave an insane amount of tickets. I still remember how funny the walk of shame back home that night was. Oh also i remember before the movie came out there was groups of people interviewing people at the street races. They were doing their homework. So the movie was really inspired by the Gleanoaks Blvd street race scene. But with that said. It was a huge impact in my life also. Especially when i was working at VIS Racing Sport since they did all the kits for the cars in the movies.

@@vonwynns1758 most were impounded and you could take them out asap, just had to pay like $700 for the towing charge plus whatever ticket you got. But the ones marked by the mechanics as modified where either issued fix it tickets or straight out confiscated depending on how modified the car was.

Lol Amazing how CALI Police don’t even understand their own laws. You DO NOT need to get a California Drivers license after 10 days of being in California. From their own DMV website: “Adults Visiting California Visitors over 18 years old with a valid DL from their home state or country may drive in California without getting a California DL as long as their home state or country DL is valid.” The only “10 day” requirement: “New California Residents When you become a California resident and you want to drive in California, you must apply for a California DL within 10 days. Residency is established in a variety of ways, including the following: Being registered to vote in California elections. Paying resident tuition at a California college or university. Filing for a home owner’s property tax exemption. I think every guy who loves cars might be a fan of the very first fast and furious even though the movie critic hate it and say its a car rip off of the movie point break. I think every car guys only like the very first movie too. I got so inspired by seeing the movie I modified my 800cc Suzuki van and flipped it over 120kmph which is so over the limit for that car. i was fine that day but to this date having spine problems of that accident.
