Hi all, will not be able to get back to messages or comments for some time as my dad has taking a turn for the worse this week and our focus rests there for now. Your thoughts and prayers would be appreciated. Thank you 👍
Talk about similarities. We traded our pa93 for a 5755 noticed exactly the same benefits as yourself lot easier to take on and off. We run ours on a MF7614. We mounted the up-down leaver on the offside door on the door rail between it and the glass, wee bracket onto the rail
Sorry to hear about your Dad Adrian , hope all is well with him . Hedge cutter seems to be a good purchase and no doubt it will be having a coat of paint soon .
My first season this season of hedge cutting, 40hrs in and I’ve blown 2 pipes, replaced gearbox bearings and replaced a pipe end when the telescopic head are fell off (2 bolts sheared) 😆🤦♂. Regards to you farther, hope he’s well soon 🤞👌👍
Best wishes to your Dad, I hope he recovers soon. Always family first. I did a load of hedge trimming when I started work on a farm after I left school (many years ago) I really enjoyed it. The only part I did not enjoy was when I got a length of barbed wire wrapped round the flail!! That took a good while to extract.
It's ok Adrian your secret is safe with me, won't tell a soul promise. 😂😎 I'm always amazed when watching verges being cut, always think the drivers must have necks like on owl's. 😃
We got a pa93 hedge cutter fully independent had it since 1988 perfect. Sales rep told us years ago semi independent trimmer will heat alot of tractor back end so since that that why our trimmer is fully independent perfect
@@colmanlong1032 on my headgear cutter got four cables in cab for controls one pto on shaft that drive all the oil for the hedge cutter. If you have a semi independent hedge cutter and a oil pipe goes for the main head it will drain it from tractor back end on fully independent it just drain from tank
The reason why the rotor stops is because the more modern hyd- motors are a some what smaller than the older ones. the small motors are spinning faster but they lack the torque- thus, it is easier to stall them. regarding the oil over heating, I would be inclined to take the explanation that you received with a pinch of salt. The bottom line is that it does not take much of an oil flow to push a couple of rams in and out- I would be looking for a restriction in the valve chest or solenoid valve etc, Happy Hunting.
Adrian I have to say the mcconnell pa 5455 is the exact machine I would love myself, Looking forward to see how you find it, Best of luck with it, Thanks for sharing 👍.
Getting my Sunday fix while flying over Greenland at 35000ft. Keep up the good work and you really should invest in some tights for cold winter mornings 😂
Never of thought your videos would need to have some trimming 😅😊 but Seriously Im wishing your Dad a speedy recovery and obviously keep him updated on the farm even if he's resting as we all know farmers never really rest and we have all respect and can wait.. .. .... Good morning sir.. always thought they were all pto powered oil pumps.. but maby thats because that's what we are on the lookout for... some of the smaller ones to go on to any of our tractors. 👌 cracking vid sir..
Could it be possible the pressure relief valve on your new trimmer is out of spec and possibly the reason why it's not as Powerful ? Another great video thankyou
Trusting your father has the very best care. When I lived in England it always distressed me to see the hedges trimmed on our local farm. The trimming was not the issue, but the trimmer blades were not sharp enough and the hedges were ripped and slashed rather than trimmed. That meant the recovery was never good with die back on many damaged branches.
Probably you oil pipes come from China like everything else does . Adrian. Probably your tractor was far to big for your old hedge cutter. Most probably only for a 70 hp tractor.
