If you visit kolkata in October of Durga puja time you'll discover whole city become a art gallery.Different Puja pandals are different art installations.
In bengali we say 'nomoskar' and Hinduism is the main religion here, then Muslim then Christianity. And one thing in Bengal we say that religion is personal but celebration 🎊 is for everyone. That's why in Durga Puja the largest Bengali Hindu festival everyone comes out to have fun and in Christmas we have largest gathering kind of life time square, during Eid they gather in all of the city indifferent places.
@@amukherjee9514 not Ram Navami... Saraswati Puja, Dolpurnima, Laxmi Puja is the part of Bengal.. Even Chhat Pujas of our Bihari brothers also part of Bengali culture...
In case you guys don't know, Kolkata has the oldest football club of Asis as well as one of the the biggest and fiercest football derby of Asia. This city is full of history, surprises and magical food. You guys really should have stayed longer
Guys, there is a sizeable population of Christians in Kolkata! There are Anglo-Indians in Kolkata, for the obvious historical reasons. Check out a place called 'Bow Barracks' that is a quintessential Anglo-Indian community! You can learn about their culture, history, food.....etc and since it's a lived colony it's rather interesting. There are areas in Kol where Armenians, Jews ( Bagdadi), Parsis ( the ppl who fled Persia/Iran after muslim invasion) Chinese and many other ethnicities live in Kol still ( even though the nos have gone down) . Calcutta ( Kolkata) was the Brit capital and hence one of the leading banking/trade/ business hubs of India....and it was the most cosmopolitan among all Indian cities, back in the early decades of the last century. Unfortunately, after independence in '47 and partition, the city fell into bad times and lost it's great dynamism sadly!
Whenever i see these guys...i literally feel happy...I love how noah gets all the love and care from his elder brother and how he cycled for him while noah was nicely sitting at the back...this was a brother moment I enjoy their travel vlogs of INDIA...and never really want them to leave the country😭❤️✨
Take a ride on the train in Darjeeling. I lived in Darjeeling for about 2 years and a blast of a time. Enjoy the food, I don't remember much but there is a bakery that sells whiskey or rum chocolates, really tasty and sweet. Definetly do not miss the Thukpa, a staple of Darjeeling and always enjoy your time! Can't wait for the video.
14:13, the way you are planning your trip is fantastic. You have both listened a lot of us and we are happy to see you enjoying in India. I really liked this from the first day that you guys are so attentive towards your audience and believe me you guys are having the best India trip by a Mile from what I have seen by a Foreigner. Great Job. Darjeeling Unesco Toy Train and some of the National Parks will be epic not sure they are open but Red Panda captivity is famous there. Do check if it is available though it isn't necessary. Thanks guys. Really waiting for your Darjeeling Sikkim and more north India trips
I felt so happy to see the vdo.. Coz most of the foreigners didn't show this place or didn't really show to their audience the real kolkata... That kolkata has both modern and vintage side❤.. Lobh u guys
Guys it's soothing to see you guys enjoying ❤ I've visited Germany may times due to my friends who work there... Food , adventure , spiritualism , historical and unique places in the world , you'll find it here...I'll recommend you guys to do trekking , camping 🏕️ on Himalayas ❤ various and various stuff to discover much love and please explore the north side more as most of the foreigners exploring only mainland and South India ❤❤❤❤❤
Yeah as you said, Kolkata biryani is the best. Cause it's flavourful & not spicy like Hyderabad biryani. Potato in biryani is the monopoly in Kolkata 😊
Nice that you listened and visited Eco Park in Newtown. And for Darjeeling I would say visit Keventers restaurant for the English Breakfast, Darjeeling is also very famous for tea, so do have the darjeeling tea (first flush). You should lookout for Mt Kunchenjungha in Darjeeling, its very rare to catch a glimpse of the mountain.
Please come in Kolkata once again at the time of Durga Puja on October... Believe me bro you never experienced such kind of festival... Kolkata's durga puja is now UNESCO World Heritage Site...The city of Joy Kolkata ❤️... Love from India 🇮🇳
Kolkata is a mixture of modern and tradition, culture and values . It was very developed in old days when Kayasthas were in administration. Now it has the same fortune that India has after many invasions.
Lovely to see you both enjoying in India. We've not visited many places even though we are in India. So, through your videos we also enjoy. When are you returning bck to Germany.?
You guys should also go and visit 'Jorashanko' the museum and residence of Rabindranath Thakur ( Tagore), the great Indian ( Bengali) philosopher, poet, writer...educationist, entrepreneur...a polymath....who was one of the biggest figures of the last century. He was the first Asian to win the Nobel Prize ( literature). It's located close to the Girish Park metro stn. One of the most historical places...cheers
Unesco rated Darjeeling Toy Train, Lloyd's Botanical Garden, (If you are interested and has good surroundings), do Check out Ghoom Monastary and Happy Valley Tea Estate to remember Kerala again, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological park for red panda and snow leopards wolf captivity and Ropeways over hills would be amazing. Do Check out these for sure. tbh Monastaries on the hills are always amazing and then the zoological park and toy train ride in 5 days is more than enough
absolutely love the way u guys speak especially with a little of French . this park is too good , 10 mins from my place , though i dont stay in Kolkata anymore, love your vlogs .
@@vidisharoy3630 😂 but in 1 to 2 year delhi will capture this tag from kolkata 😁 and it is not only India's largest eco park, it is also Asia's largest eco park.
Yours Twin Cycle ride kinda remind me of friendship bromance between "Jai-Veeru" Characters singing Yeh Dosti Song from Sholey Movie. Glad both of you are showing those worth visiting places in Kolkata City where seldom or very rarely foreign you tube vloggers have ever visited before. Wonderful Vlog Guys. Cheers👍
These sculptures are made by turning waste materials to these forms thats the reason its also called Eco-park. Many cities in india have these exact same spots in Delhi too.
Bro pleas visit Kozhikode a district in Kerala. Kozhikode is also known as calicut and calicut is also know as food capital of Kerala LOVE FOR KERALA 🤍🫂
