well, Hinata-Kageyama did not pull off a slide attack.. it was just a back quick at zero-tempo.. Hinata also jumped on both feet so...

The point of the slide attack is that hinata zips down the middle stops then runs down to one side to do that slide attack. Wasn’t a good reference from the anime and was no where near the actual attack he was trying to replicate 😂

@@mattzekken1653 no, what they did in the video is called a "running" in which the MB approaches behind the setter instead of in front the setter to delay blocks.. the haikyuu slide attack is an approach towards the setter to fake the blockers into a "quick" and then quickly go to the opposite to remove blockers. the haikyuu slide was meant to fake, and the running is meant to delay blockers. you should learn volleyball.

Yes, it's true you can't reach the setter when he gets the ball and then be on the other side of the court instantly but you can arrive to the setter as the pass is just coming off the passer's hands and then bolt out sideways.
