adam mac I used to work as a demo person and people would always do this with their kids. I didn't mind people coming for seconds and thirds but when they CONSTANTLY came by with their big families and take ALL the samples, leaving nothing for others, that's when I had a problem with it. Especially when the demo required heating the food which took a while to prep.
you guys sounds like assholes.... not everyone has been to costco or has felt the need to go. i dont need to buy a dozen cases of powerade. or whatever the fuck. i go to a normal grocery store
why is everyone on the goddamn internet a smart ass. Obviously he knows that. He's saying that he wouldnt want to go to a store that ONLY has those products. Idk why I have to explain this to you.
is it really that good? ill take your word for it because ive only been to costco once and dont remember what the food tasted like. but what could be better than some authentic ny style pizza?
You didn't try the pizza??? Costco is actually the largest pizza company on earth now. That's amazing considering that they only have three combinations: Cheese, Pepperoni, and Combo. (Ok, four if you count veggie, which they'll make if you ask.) It's just not on the menu. $10 for an entire pizza and it's enormous.
Yep been to that Costco plenty of times but never had anything there besides the hot dog. That was the only Costco in the NyC area I knew about for almost a decade until they opened a new one in Queens.
One time I was on a road trip by myself and decided to go into the Costco foodcourt.. And you dont really need to be a costco member to go through the exit or to buy food at the foodcourt.. The food was awesome. Bought a turkey sandwich and a strawberry youghurt, the next moment, my life changed forever. Never realized you could buy yourself a great meal for under 5$
At mine they were closing and if you were shopping they said get your things and and pay and then to leave and werent letting in anymore shoppers but when people said they were going to the food court they let them go through i was paying for my things and i saw how many people there were they easily made 500 bucks from 15 there at the food court
One of my fondest memories as a child was going to Costco as a family once a month and my parents assigned all my siblings stuff to get and meet back at the counter. And the one treat our parents let us have because our family didn’t have a lot was we could all order 1 thing from the food court. Never forget those simple childhood memories.
Originella holy shit. I just watched a family guy video (recomended by RU-vid) where you commented the "he hit on me at your wedding" line. Now I watch this other video about Costco (also recommended by RU-vid) and here you are again.
Right?? Normally, if given a Hot Dog, I'd try my best not to gag, but Costco's are genuinely an enjoyable experience to consume. It's incredible to notice the disparity.
Haha yeah. There food is a great price, and the food is not that bad as I can say. At least it's taste better then school food( remembering high school). But that what I like about Costco, things can be on sale and stuff there are huge so u get so much value:) I really like the pizza there, it's pretty tasty. And the berry smoothie:)
john they don't ask for membership cards anymore for food. They know how many people come in just to buy the food. More money for them. Plus they figure down the road speaking/seeing enough members while eating you'll eventually get a membership. Smart af.
john yea I know but in reality you can just walk in. "I was parking the car, my nightmare wife is in there shopping." Just words, but it will always work.
+R3verse Rage in n out is fuckin delicious the best part is they close til 2 am so even if your shit faced drunk if someone can drive you to one you can enjoy a tasty double double with extra cheese animal style fries and a mr pibb
Ray Radiance Generally true. They have changed suppliers when need to meet the price point. Switched to Pepsi from coke dropped Hebrew hotdogs for their own brand etc. Didn’t really make any money off the food court It’s a successful strategy to draw people into the store
21 RB Yeah it is. He said it was so cheap that it was a sign that it would be bad. He's used to eating hundred dollar meals thinking it's good even though they only serve him a handful of food.
it's also because they are not there to make a ton of money with the food. The idea is to allow you to shop longer because you know you can grab a meal after your LONG exhausting shopping spree. (I exagerate the way I explain it but that's the gist of it)
Captain Turnipage no, you have to have a membership to get into the Costco building, and the food court is located after the checkout and is blocked in by security
We should hang out together sometime at the Costco food court. The menu varies depending on where you go. I'm in Calgary Alberta and I've noticed they don't serve fries in the US Costco locations I've been to. We live near three stores and sometimes our family will go their for dinner on a week night. I love your sense of humor and hope to see more vids from you. Thanks for posting!
You messed up on ordering - you purchased a hotdog with a drink for 1.50 and then bought a second drink for .59cents unless you were with someone (i only saw one drink on the table) you overpaid for your soda.
Costco is a wholesale store. If anything, the business owners buying bulk should be weirded out by regular people shopping there. I don't know why nobody understands that
Don’t feel bad. I travelled by bus all the way across Atlanta just to experience this magical food, by myself. Didn’t get a membership and buy anything else, just wanted to experience the CostCo food court. And it was totally worth it!
