I’m looking forward to the rest of these videos for Japan! & the lady who was your tour guide looked like a sweetheart 💗 those pancake/waffle fish looked delicious!! I’m looking forward to more videos from you guys!!
What perfect timing - I’m going to Japan for the second time in May and I’m hoping to do a couple of Magical Trip tours in Tokyo, Osaka, and Hiroshima! So excited for the videos to come.
We love your Foodie tours (because we're Foodies two) we've been looking forward to this Japan tour, and so far so great! It's so cool how the Japanese present their food. So glad to see you two on your own again, though having a guide must be helpful. Looked like fun :)
Wow!! I just noticed your subscribers are close to 202,000. When did that happen! Shows how much I’ve been paying attention😂. Congrats! Great video by the way.....Japan, yes!!
Been waiting for you to get to Japan. Love the food, Love the people, so warm and friendly (even if they do get their lines wrong. LOL) Well done guys, you're the best!!
Awesome, have so much fun! Taiwan will definitely be at the top of our list next time we're through Southeast Asia...we hear the food and views are amazing 😍
New subscriber and so happy you guys are uploading your videos with 4K resolution! Picture quality looks great on my television. Please continue with 4K and great videos :)
In the US they have a taiyaki place called Somi Somi (The one I went to was in Irvine, CA)... They have the custard ones, but the one I got was with ice cream! They had traditional Japanese flavors like matcha, green tea, black sesame, ube..With toppings it was amazing!
With 'Oden', the Daikon or Radish is ALWAYS the Best choice (assuming the broth is flavorful / tasty). Mainly because it tends to soak up all of the juice from the broth. And on a Cold Day - Just the ticket to warm you up from the inside out.
Why don’t you watch Samuel and Audrey...they just got back from Japan not long ago. They ate their way through too! I keep trying to get you couples together because you are my favorite foodies❤️ I think it would be awesome!
Alison & Eric have visited the UK on a few occasions and are pretty good connoisseurs on the British fish 'n' chip scene. As a fellow Brit, I would say that pickled eggs are pretty revolting. Sorry.
I'am glad you guys are not on a low salt diet as you constantly say that it's salty, I have been thrown out of places for complaining the food is too salty. My GP has told me to consume no more than 2 gm of salt per day, which means everything has to be cooked with no added salt as practically all food has a sodium content. It was hard at first but now I really notice added salt.
Much yummy food. You guys really love your liquor don't you?😂😂😂 I can't have it since I'm allergic to alcohol...no...not like everyone else...I get red all over if I take one sip of an alcoholic beverage... But hey...to each his own.
Eric, please consider centering both yourself AND your wife in the frame more often, and cutting her off when she speaks less often. I'm talking about when you are side-by-side. You're usually centre-frame and Allison is off to the side until she starts talking. Then once you cut her off, you center the camera on yourslf again. Once you notice it, you can't unsee it. It's been bugging me for months. Other than that, I am really enjoying you guys and your endless adventures.
Late fall would be a good time if you want to miss the crowds and the humidity. Early spring if you want to see the cherry blossoms and don't mind rubbing elbows with all of Japan & tourists. As far as the itinerary, it depends on what you're into and how much time you have!
They don't have their own beds or home anymore. They stopped renting their apt in San Francisco and sold or gave away most of their belongings a few years ago when they started traveling full-time. They are full-time travelers / "Digital Nomads". When they Are having off-time in the US in-between trips, they appear to spend it visiting friends in Texas, her family in St. Louis, or Eric's family.
Always thought Japanese food was really healthy, really surprised on the fried because my friend grew up in Japan & her entire family vegetarian eating traditional vegetarian foods and a lot of raw
We found it pretty easy to get around Tokyo without knowing Japanese. If you stick to the touristy areas, most restaurants will have menus in English or photos of the food, so it shouldn't be too difficult to find vegetarian options.
When I travel my first preference is the scenery and the sights , food second. Just a suggestion but your channel is looking like the two of you eating the majority of the video.
Do you mean y’all? If so, it’s a combination of ‘you’ and ‘all’. It is a very common term used in the US, mainly in the south. Don’t know anything about that other word (autocorrect won’t let me enter it without changing it to something else.
culture cypher It is common for Japanese to wear germ masks even when they travel to the U.S. and other countries. It's just that they are very careful about illness.
Well.............................................this IS a "street food" video..............that's basically what street food Is... there IS plenty of food in Japan that's healthier, more wholesome, more rounded meals, ect.....but that's not what this video is about
I could not live there everything is too salty weird food hard boiled eggs in broth, yuk, don't know how you keep that food down. and try not to insult them while trying it. gross
