Grab some G54 merch here - www.en.garage54.ru/ Let's see if we can make an internet sketch into something that actually works. For business inquiries: promotion@garage54.ru
I was waiting for one of those magnets to snap and fly off heh That thing was funny but a little sketch, especially later when they wound it up good... shaking like the day after... Knew when I saw the thumbnail that they'd delivered April fools in true garage 54 form once again.. and they don't disappoint regardless. I hope he keeps these original fabrications... the Lada experimentation is rather repeatable... these things are one of a kind.
I did this and variations of this back in the eighties, even went very far down the route of patenting the whole idea back in '99 but didn't follow through. I hit on making an engine when working for an avionics company called Muirhead Vestric, I actually used the insanely powerful magnets from a Harrier aircraft system motor and some very strong stainless steel rodding to make con rods and crankshaft and high expense jewelled bearings again from the trusty Harrier stuff. My patent covered also X and Y shaped configurations which could be modular bolted together to make multiples and used to replace petrol engines size for size. Had different concepts of air and magnetic bearings on the crankshaft preferring magnetic bearings for low friction and general air cooling with heat exchangers for anything that got very hot but my prototype ran perfectly for as long as one wanted, virtually no friction and just continual power motion.
Nie lepsze były by elektromagnesy na wale korbowym ? W silniku paliwowym ? Zwiększające moc momentu obrotowego ? Dzisiaj elektrownie odzyskiwania prądu, np w kołach, znają wszędzie, łącznie z Porsche.
Unfortunately I think tons of people have tried and nobody done it legit. Without an external power source. It's always been a thing, trying to make "free" power is all it is.
Congratulations. You have achieved truly clean energy. I propose that you install this engine in a relatively medium-sized boat, because I believe that the propeller will have less resistance than an automotive transmission and you can regulate the forward control using a clutch so as not to have to stop the eternal movement of this wonderful ecological engine. Anyway, you have already made a dream come true and I congratulate you, thank you for sharing your adventures. Blessings to all!
@@gmspeedgarage3697 Nikola Tesla never had any kind of free energy, and he also never claimed it. He attempted to transmit electrical energy without cables through the air. Some mistake this project as free energy, which is false. The energy which would have been transmitted would have been produced in conventional power stations, oil, coal, water. But Tesla erred with this project, it never worked and can't work.
So glad i didnt check the comments before it ended, i was fooled. I was thinking of all the potential to balance all the spinning parts. Ugh man you got me so good. So good.
I'm amazed by the fact that you didnt even make a simple cover for the "camshaft" and had so much faith in your weldind while passing by the cars parked 🤣🤣🤣
That was an absolutely well played prank. Very good lads. Very good. I seem to recall another thing done with magnets a couple of years back. If I recall it was a large magnet being held in front of the vehicle, which would make it move forward. The moment I started this video it reminded me of the older one. They go out of their way for a good April fools day gag for sure.
I have something I would like you to try on a engine. Remove all the valve train parts, cam, lifters, valve springs ect. Only leave the valves in the head and modify the head to have a heavy duty solenoid over the top of each valve to operate the valves. You will have to make a timing system for it but that should not be to hard just use a reluctor ring and some contacts to see if it will work. Think about all that free horsepower and less moving parts is always better. This will be the future of Engines and then you could have any cam profile you wanted with a simple download and not even turn one wrench while doing it.
I kind of think it would work but it really works as I continue watching. You have a very smart clever mind.Good work and I'm waiting for for the completion of your fun but mind blowing project.
I saw your previous April Fools vid about this -.- I know what's up. I am glad you upgraded this beast! It aint hard to hide the battery when you are the folks making the Vid! I'm glad you made the same 'upgraded' engine as the last vid I saw from a Year or Two ago- I'd have been fooled if I hadn't seen that within the last few Days! I love this channel, you guys do some epic work. You've been silencing so many intrusive thoughts :P Did you guys use another starter motor to drive the thing? that alone was pretty dang impressive in the last one.
I remember a popular mechanics article from decades ago describing how to build a 'steam' locomotive for a garden train using push/pull electromagnets instead of a geared motor design.
after couple of years, you guyz earn a sub for real. been watching ur videos since the old garage u had XD epic engineering - thank you so much for bringing this knowledge to us:):) keep it going garage 54 u guys are awesome.
I wonder if it would be possible with electro magnets? You wouldn't needs to have the magnets spinning when you're alternating the polarity electronically, and there would be a way to accelerate and decelerate the engine speed by adding/subtracting current.
Yeah worst part is when you watch it later and dont recall about it. Might be end of a year and still get fooled if it goes to suggestions or you watch the whole channel. Thats why i think there out to be warning label on videos made today that activates day after.
The thing is, a machine somewhat like this can actually work. There are certain criteria that need to be met to make it work, and even more specification to make it work well. Perpetual energy machines do indeed work. You just have to be careful.... Never put it out to the public. Certain enemies are always watching.
This is awesome!! I like the way how people inventing new stuff and work like the things we allready know. Make it bigger, stronger and proof that your invention works. Keep on inventing guys... love it!! Use Teflon for the body and Carbon fibers for rods and that sort of things.
This is pretty much one of the better ways to build a demonstration motor to show kids etc, except one set of magnets has to be electromagnets so you can turn them on and off at the appropriate times. Putting a small electric motor on the crank shaft is of course the other way to do it but there is something cool about seeing the “pistons” actually pushing and the kids can fiddle with the timing etc.
That’s awesome I dreamed about a motor running on magnets since I was a kid but I never did anything about it and wow there it is!!! Great job guys you have made a perpetual motion machine that science has worked at for 100yrs or so but couldn’t do it but there it is you’re geniuses!!!!!
Designing a magnetic engine involves creating a system that utilizes magnetic fields to produce mechanical work. Here's a simplified outline of how you could design one: Understanding Magnetic Fields: Before designing a magnetic engine, it's crucial to have a solid understanding of magnetic fields and their properties. This includes knowledge of electromagnetism and how magnetic fields interact with one another. Choose Magnetic Materials: Select appropriate magnetic materials for your engine, such as neodymium magnets or electromagnets. Consider factors like magnetic strength, durability, and cost. Design the Engine Components: Stator: This stationary part of the engine contains the magnets or electromagnets that generate the magnetic field. Rotor: The rotor is the moving part of the engine that interacts with the magnetic field to produce mechanical work. It may contain magnets or be induced to create its own magnetic field. Arrange Magnets: Place magnets on the stator and rotor in a configuration that maximizes the interaction between magnetic fields. This may involve alternating the polarity of magnets or arranging them in a specific pattern. Control System: Develop a control system to regulate the magnetic field strength and direction, as well as the movement of the rotor. This could involve electronic circuits and sensors to detect the position and speed of the rotor. Mechanical Components: Integrate mechanical components such as shafts, bearings, and gears to transmit the rotational motion produced by the engine to useful work, such as driving a generator or a vehicle. Testing and Optimization: Test the engine prototype to evaluate its performance, efficiency, and reliability. Make adjustments and optimizations as necessary to improve its operation. Safety Considerations: Ensure that the design incorporates safety features to prevent accidents or damage from the strong magnetic fields generated by the engine. Efficiency Improvement: Continuously refine the design to enhance efficiency, reduce energy losses, and optimize the performance of the magnetic engine. Environmental Impact: Consider the environmental impact of the engine's materials, operation, and disposal. Aim to minimize any negative effects and explore options for using renewable energy sources to power the engine.
Awesome April fools video guys. That was still pretty cool to see as I've always loved magnetism, electromagnetism, and especially magnetic levitation. You guys always do something cool, even if it's a prank.
Watching this I'm thinking HOLY COW! Have these guys done the impossible? I kept watching to see what else they will do and... APRIL FOOL! Good one, guys. You got me!
I designed a magnet motor that used shielding that moved across the top magnets instead of spinning the tops, actually worked but on an extremely small scale with only one cylinder, never got around to making a full size 4 cylinder,
Nice bro, you can directly of magnet, use more powerfull magnet, add more set ex : 8 set, than you can add coil in every outside silinder for induction that can power on your lamp.
Very good job. On the bench test the battery pack under the motor is quite evident, but on the car test it's very well conceiled. And cannot tell were the electric motor is hidden. I suppose threre is and adittional belt attached to the cranckshaft on the gears side.
I had a fantasy of something like this. What I imagined though was different. You already demonstrated that the 2 magnets can repel each other and be positioned somewhat like pistons. What I Imagined was First the magnets would be electromagnets and the sequence of their activation is controlled similarly to how spark plugs are sequenced. So when the electromagnet is activated, it one magnet would repel the another one which will act like the piston. It would be like an alternative way to propel an electric car, instead of being a perpetual motion device like this
For a generator that would be absolutely awesome not to mention you could actually make it so that you have an electronic cylinder like mag locks on a front end or rear end or a hydraulic adjustment from inside the cab to move the magnets in and out also you can electronically charged your magnets and discharge and reverse😮😮
I always wondered if this idea could work. Wonder if you could use electric magnets in a head and a distributor to "ignite" them. Maybe use a magneto to power it somehow. It's not really free energy but doesn't use gas.
I always wanted to put some iron rods on top of the piston that stuck up into a head wound with coils that are energized by the ignition or spark plug wire & used that to run the engine, varying the timing to control speed.
