Surely having the wipes at hand, would of made more sense. For you to of run along the surface, then just push the trim against it then wipe away excess.
Thanks Craig. This is something we are now doing and all part of the DIY learning curve. It’s the perfect technique for working with caulk and silicon too.
It's rubbish. I just used no more nails too fix up a curtain batten to fix the pole brackets to. It said once dry it would hold 50kg. After a week the whole lot fell off the wall. Complete rubbish for holding anything to a wall to bare even a little weight let alone 50kg!
I have tried this glue on three different solutions. Resulting that I am really disappointed. It doesn't even glue wood. Never going to choose No More Nails in any soöutions anymore.
I agree that it’s not very strong and with any significant force you can pry the beading that we applied off the skirting boards. On some level that’s a benefit, so it comes down to the application and what you want it to do. If you’re after a wood that’s super strong, Gorilla is probably what you’re after: myhomefarm.co.uk/gorilla-wood-glue-review
It’s been a while since we used it so don’t recall set and cure times, but generally we found the glue to not be very strong. You may want to check out MAXAM DURA+ myhomefarm.co.uk/silicone-filler-caulk-sealant-and-adhesive-in-one-tube
Yikes. No idea. I would pry it off delicately with a small chisel and be prepared to take a bit of plaster with it. This glue isn't that strong so that might work.
I bought lepage no more nail ultimate. I did not glue if there is tension on . After leave load on top for two hour , it did not hold . It work in easy cases. Sorry it is for light work not for construction
Thanks for the comment. Yeah, I agree with that. It’s not the strongest adhesive around by any means, and it’s intended by lighter work as you’ve pointed out.
@@MyHomeFarm it's missing an O, " how do you open the small black One". If they are having trouble opening a bottle and/or reading the instructions it's probably best you don't help them.
