Your knowledge is actually incredible, went down that whole wall of like 30 sets at play it again and had a story, fact, or have played pretty much every set. Great vid!
That TaylorMade Progressive 1 find was awesome. I had to know more, so I did some additional searching and found this on the TaylorMade site. It appears that this club was the KVD (Ken Venturi Design). This was the first iron ever created by TaylorMade - design inspired by Ken Venturi back in 1980. Just an awesome find. Thanks Jon and Ash!
I wish we had the choice of clubs in the UK. Keep the videos coming I think you are both great. Really enjoy all your context although very jealous. All the best, Ian
This is my local stores and I stop by frequently to see there new stock and it was fun to watch you guys pick through the clubs that I have been looking at for months or even years
Are congratulations in order? Did I hear the mention of a "future little Stacker"? Great to see some lefty love on the channel and the tour issue wedge looked wicked!
Befuddled is ok, when it's unusual clubs that you always ferret out. Great road trip and Ashley gets a brand new bag! Digging deep for that one! Love the channel - travel safe!
I have a full set of the Taylormade Progresssive irons, essentially the club head gets bigger as you move from 2 iron to SW, which looks like a ‘normal’ club. Haven’t hit them, just buy and sell a bit like you do.
Oh my goodness what has to world come to when Jon has no clue what that club is? I think this is the first Thank you both for always making my day better :)
Just built a set of Rickie Fowler blades for myself (26, 6.4 handicap, hit a 7 iron 170) and they are surprisingly easy to hit. You just have to get over the lack of offset but they really aren’t hard to hit at all.
last week my mom was blameing me for the clubs at my parents house. But most were never mine, there is a 60s wilson half set that was my dads he never used much. and some were from my brother-in-law he got to do a pre wedding outing. the handful that were mine were a few howson copycats of pingeye2s and a howson wood I used in early 90s
Can't believe I was 2nd to watch. Silver medal position. But loved the video guys. We've got nothing like that here in Ireland or the UK. Would love to have places like that here to shop around in.
Hi, Ash and Jon. I've been looking forever for a ping B605(S?)BZ putter to replace mine that was stolen. Are you amenable to selling it outright or wanting to sell on your website or auction. I'm not too good on auction sales and don't know how to get in touch with you directly, but would appreciate some info. Thanks so much.
You're a little off your game Jon. Those aren't the Rickie Fowler blade irons, those are the much more forgiving Cobra hollow bodied distance player Forged Tec irons. I have the Chrome version, and they're badass. That being said, I love your guys channel.
@@ashjonThanks for responding so quickly and setting me straight. I guess I'm the one who's off their game. I'm a few beers in, which Is the same excuse I use when I'm sucking on the course.
