Does anyone else like to wake up at 4 am and wait for the sun to rise? I like to play music like this and walk outside moments before the sky lightens. Then I amble around my neighborhood , watching as the sky turns from black, to blue, to lavender then to pink. Half the sky is ablaze with the rising sun and half is still shrouded in the inky waters of night. It’s awesome. The sky seems so full of life. The world hasn’t woken up yet. The side walks are silent and in the distance you can hear the low rumble of cars. It gets so quiet you can hear every bird, every step of your feet. Windows are still dark. But the sky is awake. The sun pulls the world out of its slumber. It helps shed the world of the heavy blanket of sleep. The world is half alive, stuck in between the wakening and sleeping realm. But the sky. It bleeds with life, it’s light pouring into the streets and doors

Lost a group of friends a few months ago. I thought that nothing could be worse than that. I stopped being myself, became rebellious and immature. My grades were falling, I kept fighting with my family, stood against the teachers. I left home one night, but I didn't know where to go. I thought for a while, decided to call an uber to Starbucks which opened 24 hours. I put on this music on the way there, ordered iced blended Mocha when I arrived then sat at a spot beside the window. I grabbed a novel to read, and that's when I realised it's been a while since I've had contact with books and academics. I looked at the time which was 2.30 am, while listening to this music I had a chance to think about everything. I realise life isn't really that complicated because you're the one to decide how it should be. I went back home and hugged my dad and cried, I assume that he was damn mad and worried that I was out at such a late hour but surprisingly he didn't say anything to me. We talked on hours until sunrise along with the coffee I bought from Starbucks, and I manage to get a grip of myself again. What I get from this silly situation of mine, is that we should always have courage to face tomorrow instead of thinking about yesterday. The past will remain in your memories to build up a better future.

To all those who have exams and are questioning how life will turn out in the future or those who feel like something apart of them is missing, just remember that with every moment you hear this music i truly hope you know that everything will be okay. At a coffee shop there was a girl sitting by herself, reading "The Girl on the Train", minding her own business. She caught my eye, and when I was just about to leave the shop, I turned back on impulse. Sat by her, talked a bit, and we made a lunch plan. She was in my city for just two days and she ended up spending both with me. This happened 2 weeks ago. 10 days from now, we're going to spend a weekend at a hill-station.

When I listen to this I feel a happy sadness. I feel nostalgic for something i never even had. I feel like I'm supposed to meet someone very special in the near future. I feel nostalgic for them even though we've never met.

This is what you hear when you're alone; It's raining but you open the door and step outside anyways. Not bothering to grab a coat. Sitting on the porch you look around and for a moment you can see each individual droplet as it falls from the endless void above. You wish someone was there with you. But then you tell yourself that they would ruin the moment. Their warmth would overtake the rainy chill; they would take away all your attention from the rain and yourself. You are focusing on your self. You can have special moments without someone by your side. You are now standing in the middle of the yard. Rain all around you. It's falling hard yet you don't flinch. You take it, absorb it, become it. You are just a single drop of rain in a sky full of loneliness.

There was this girl... All throughout elementary school I had the biggest crush on this girl. She had poofy blonde hair, deep blue eyes, and was the sweetest person I had ever met. We never talked; she had her friends and I had mine, but I always managed to get caught gazing at her beauty at the wrong time. This girl was seriously gorgeous, but I never had the balls to talk to her. A few years pass, and I continue to let my heart get broken from afar. She became on a pedestal for me, and every day I would think of her. One random day, we were working on sculpture pieces in school. I was struggling, and I was behind schedule and needed to put in some overtime to get it done. As the rest of the class packed up and went home, I remained with my things. I will never forget how she gently placed her hand on mine, and said "it looks great". She stayed with me after school and we talked about life. I had never felt such bliss in my life. The next day we were instantly friends, and I finally could talk to her about everything. But I didn't. I had truly fallen head over heels for this girl, and to express my true feelings would interrupt our relationship. For two years I held my secret, and I didn't tell a single soul. Over time, we slowly began to fall in love. Everything was going right, or so I thought. When I received the news that I was going to move to Colorado with my family, it threw my whole world upside down. I had to say goodbye to all my friends, favorite spots, and the girl I loved. I was completely devastated. When I told her, she didn't talk to me for a week. We still existed on this level of intimacy where we weren't officially dating, but we both desperately wanted it. But for the sake of avoiding broken hearts, we unspokenly decided not to pursue our desires. I will never forget the dance that we went to together. We both are dancers, and we went to a swing club for a night. I will never forget how I held her close, and we swayed together to the music. I will never forget how she took my hand and put it on her heart, and said "my heart is beating out of my chest. I can't fake that ive fallen in love with you". I will never forget how she kissed me while I held her in my arms. After we graduated we went to many grad parties together. We didn't speak of what happened at the dance, for fear that it would tear our hearts apart. At one party, we climbed a big oak tree and sat in the branches near the top. She held me in her arms and hugged me around my back. I will never forget how we both cried, as she kissed my neck and we embraced in looming branches. I will never forget how my heart felt at that moment. Love can manifest itself as physical feeling, and what I experienced was heartbreak. I remember hugging all of my friends goodbye and everyone was crying. I got in the car and slowly drove off, and the entire party chased after me, screaming and waking up the entire neighborhood. I will never forget looking back, and seeing the girl with the poofy blond hair and deep blue eyes looking back at me. I cried the majority of the 24 hour drive, until I had no more tears to cry. I still wonder how she is doing today. We obviously are commented on social media, but the pain of talking again was too much to bear and so we haven't spoke in years. It's been three years since I saw her beauty, and I still think I am in love with her. I've dated other girls, and have tried everything to end my heartache, but I truly believed that I had my one chance to fall in love and it was taken from me. One day... we will meet again, and maybe my world will change again for the better.

I'm a teenage boy who is very sensitive but very inexpressive of my emotions due to the fear of being judged. This is not the best feature to have when you fall for a girl who can be extremely cold at times. I have had many sleepless nights because something she said, or did that made me doubt if she even cared for me. The thing is that, this was the first time I felt like i truely connected with a girl. God, was she hilarious, beautiful and also suprisingly intelligent. She had this goofiness which sparked my heart and it felt like I could actually be myself with this girl. I got involved in her family life as well and we travelled to London together, went skiing and I honestly saw her and I as growing old together. Over a period of a year it sadly became clearer and clearer by her actions that she did not share the same emotions in her heart, as it did in mine. One rainy October evening, she told me in words after being doubtful for a year. I was broken, but also relieved that I finally knew what she really felt about me. I was still happy because I still had this fantastic girl in my life, even though our relationship would never change from just being good ol' friends. The thing I value most is this world is having deep relationships with people who I enjoy spending time with, so I didn't really care if it was intimate or not. I called her and told her this and it was one of the only times I heard her cry. I thought that my life would be so much better now that we finally knew what we both wanted but then she started ignoring me and responded with one word answers. I was so confused, but I had to accept that things change. Til' this day, I still don't know why she did what she did, but everyone have different coping mechanisms so I couldn't blame her. I started getting more and more detached from my close friends, cause it was too emotinally exhausting to spend time with a girl who never even think to talk to you. My mother had some problems with alcohol and it felt like no one cared for me, so I got more and more isolated from reality, since it was so painful. Feelings for me are like smells. They all are so unique, irreplaceable and indescribable. Some people had one certain "smell" and made me feel a certain kind of way. This is the first time I share my feelings because it is so hard for me to describe them and sometimes I can't really communicate with people what I really feel. Hope ya'll heal and grow since there is only one YOU out there...

Last year I went through depression. It was my 5th year of being bullied. I cried myself to sleep every day. I asked why. Then I said... I need to fight. I had a baseball bat hit to my face a few weeks before. I signed up to martial arts and I'm fighting. I'm fighting for my self. Depression is seen as horrible. However, due to the rocky roads, I can and I bet you others can now see there is a point to life. I am stronger than ever. Hold on to life. Live. You will understand. The rocky road has a end. A highway of joy is in sight. Fight your way there.

Lofi music is so nice. And omg, their community is so positive. I actually started to tear up just from reading all the nice, supportive, passerby comments. The stories everyone has to tell are so sweet. Everyone loves each other as if they were close family members though they have never even met. I'm so quiet and calm right now. Haha, now I wanna go have a coffee with everyone. I mean, so many people are or were listening to this track for many different reasons. Some just want a soothing track to lull them to sleep. Some are sad or feeling lonely. Some may be studying for a test or doing homework. And some, including me, can't stand the silence, thoughts, and tears that accompany the silence. November 28, 2019. It’s 12:21 am and I’m laying in my room listening to this music. My newborn son is asleep rocking in his swing and I’m sitting next to the love of my life as he watches videos on his phone and giggles. We have a single lamp on and the setting is perfect. I don’t know how to describe this feeling but I never want to leave this moment.

it’s like i’m suddenly not so alone

i remember the littlest things about her all the time. she used to go to the smoothie shop by my old place every time she came over and she said the people who worked there knew her by name, which i thought was odd since i felt like she was barely ever with me. one morning we decided to take a walk on the beach and she ran ahead of me through the sand like nothing was tethering her anywhere, not even gravity. i walk along the same beach and think about how last i heard she was moving to brazil (i live in the U.S.) and her instagram has pinned stories sorted by which continent she was in when filming. i worry about her a lot, because she told me a long time ago that she felt trapped in a life of chaos that she never signed up for. but that was then, and now she doesn't confide in me anymore. she seems happy now. one time we made hot chocolate and she held spoonfuls of it to blow on so it would cool off. and i laughed because i couldn't believe how she made such a simple task seem so delicate, but it seemed like i was laughing at her. i shouldn't have laughed. now every time i drink hot chocolate i think of her. i don't think i'll ever see her again, simply because she travels so much and i don't like traveling all that much. i'll just listen to music like this and wonder what could have been if things had gone differently. if i had had the courage to run in the sand with her. if i had drank smoothies with her instead of coffee. if i had kissed her when she blew on her hot cocoa. i hope she's doing well. i hope she's happy.

This title really reminds me of someone. I'm sure nobody cares, but everybody else is sharing their stories, so why not? I was on my way back home from visiting my cousins and I had stopped at a cafe to get some lunch. When I walked in, I was suprised to see a girl just as short as me rush past me in the uniform the workers wore. In case it's not obvious, I'm really short. I ordered my lunch and waited. The previously mentioned girl rushed around the cafe delivering people's food. Finally, my name was called. She then picked up the bag and searched for the customer it belonged to. That's when I got a good look at her. By society's standards, she probably isn't the most beautiful girl, but to me, she looked like an angel. It wasn't just her kind smile that caught my attention though. Something about her made me feel comfortable and happy. Like I already knew her. I had never felt that sort of feeling towards anyone, and I was confused as to why I felt this way around somebody who I've never even seen before. Our eyes met and she almost looked suprised, like she also felt it. I got my food and left, since I still had a bit of a long drive ahead of me. It's been three months since I last saw her, but I still think about her every day. Even though I haven't spoken a single word to her, I dream about being with her. But even if I saw her again and I managed to talk to her, I'm pretty sure she would never like me back. Because I'm also a girl.

a year and a half. that's what i lost, and that's what i can't cope with not having. she became so much to me so fast; all those sleepless nights i spent with her, making sure she fell asleep and was able to stay asleep. all the days i spent fretting and worrying about her. we met on League Of Legends, and somehow forged a beautiful relationship. we were long distance, but i found a job and saved up to go see her: it took a month of work and not buying ANYTHING, and a lot of determination (from both of us) but we finally got there! After a morning that started WAY too early for me, and 2 flights, I made it up to Boston to see her. It was pretty fuckin great. the best week of my life. and on the very last night i was there, her parents told her it was either them or me; she could come back to Georgia with me, and be disowned, or stay with them and lose me. It was the life and future she had fought, tooth and nail for, for 18 years, or me. They didn't approve of me, literally nothing about me. So they refused to accept us. She knows i would have told her to choose her college and family over me, no matter how unfair i thought they were to her, but... that doesn't shrink the hole in my fucking chest i feel every day, hoping she'll message me, hoping she'll call, hoping she'll come back into my life SOMEHOW. i just hope we can both find out happiness, in time. i hope this hole in our hearts can be healed, and we can feel what love feels like again.

I think I'm addicted to the internet. Every time I see myself stuck in it, I try to entertain myself, as if I wanted to escape from reality. Because of this addiction my grades go down and my social life is affected. Thanks to this place and its music, I can think more about what I really want, the harmonies and the sounds make me feel sensations that I had felt before, and make me remember what is important. Every time I listen to your music I can study and read books again, with background harmonies. thank you.

Have you ever gotten attached to a person who only exists in your imagination? I have had re-occurring dreams about this one guy over and over again. We would meet in the library and he would be helping me grab a book from the top shelf. Then we would get to know eachother more and we were slowly falling for eachother. After a year or so knowing eachother, we were both very close, ready to go into something more intimate. Then in December, he died in an accident. I was so heartbroken and was crying my eyes out, day and night. I remember learning this song called “Dissapear” and it made my heart ache. I was so depressed trying to get over this guy, my best friend, the person I loved. But then I wake up, tear stains on my face. And then I remember that it was all a dream. Nothing was real, it was just a scenario that my imagination had made up. But I keep living the same dream over and over again and sometimes I think to myself, “maybe it’s real. It just hasn’t happened yet”

If reincarnation is a thing, I hope to be reborn as a confident individual that is just able to go up to strangers and start conversations about the universe and have coffee. I hope my anxiety has ceased to exist and I am happy and carefree :)

I’m a dreamer because reality is often disappointing

About a month ago I had a dream where I was sitting on a bus but with me a girl who apparently was my girlfriend, I feel that in the dream I recognized her but when I woke up I did not remember a silhouette, it was strange in that moment but the days passed. Today at 8 o'clock at night I started looking for a song to study and I became curious the title "we've never met but can we have a coffee or something", so I went in and started reading but at 2 minutes of the song I felt weird, my heart started to beat a little faster, I felt nervous and suddenly I came back to that dream I had, I remembered that I looked very happy with that person, everything got very confusing until my cell phone rings and it was the message of a girl I had just met a week ago and little by little the silhouette of the girl in my dream became clearer, she was there when I started crying until now everything turns out Confused and strange but life is an endless coincidence or not?

i'm in a very bad state of mind right now. i recently lost someone that meant the world to me. now i have to learn how to live by myself again because i forgot how my life was before them. and i have no choice but to move on with my life because they clearly told me that they aren't coming back. and yet.. i wish we could listen together to this song and talk about life again. and not just about life, but about everything we used to talk to. but that will never happen, of course. they aren't coming back. this comment section makes things a little better though. it's nice to read about other people's thoughts, experiences, stories etc. i can even relate to some of them and it kind of makes me feel better. i feel less lonely knowing there are people out there who feel exactly what i'm feeling. i'm grateful to everyone who makes this comment section such a lovely place

For the people listening to this at like 3 am or somethiing (it's 8 pm here) I recommend just opening your window and sitting on the windowsill (be careful though) while listening to this it's such a soothing feeling I did it the whole summer almost every night last year. I fell in love with a boy from my dreams. I helped him escape from a house in a suburban neighborhood. And we took off into the distance. We ran and ran and ran. there was this girl when I boarded the train with a friend early in the Morning, the whole compartment was full, except for a four-seater. there sat this girl and smiled like an angel. it was an angel. It was THE girl. she was beautiful and had eyes like a glowing shooting star. I could not turn away from my eyes, and then I realized it was her. That's the girl I've been dreaming about for a very long time. I can not describe her beauty. then we sat there, no one said a word, the whole ride it was quiet. I wanted to talk to her, but I did not. I have not exchanged a single word with this girl. coincidentally, we had to get off at the exact same station. I took all my courage together and wanted to talk to her, them when getting out. But I had no balls in my pants and had not talked until she had disappeared in the crowd at the station. I was devastated and could not think straight. The following week, this girl did not want to get out of my head. I dreamed that I walked with her hand in hand through the dark streets of the night and talk with her about life. but it did not happen that way. I also pray to God five months later every day that I can see this girl again. It's like being stolen from my other half of my heart. it tore me in two parts. cant believe i JUST found this side of youtube but im here to stay

It's graduation week I found out that this girl in my grade had a crush on me I've never been the type to focus on relationships mainly due to lack of self confidence and just enjoying time with my friends, but realizing that someone could possibly think I'm attractive changed something in me I became much more nervous around her because I started to like her back Our friends kept egging us on about what could be but neither of us can muster up the courage to do anything about it. Although at the time I didn't really think anything could possibly happen I started to really pay attention to my appearance instead of just wearing what's comfortable. I'd wear better fitted clothing, I'd style my hair, I'd fix my posture, and just try to appear overall more appealing Fast forward to the dreaded year end dance I've decided that once a slow song comes on I'd ask her to dance with me Music teacher keeps playing pop music so nobody is dancing. Just a group of kids sitting across the perimeter of the gymnasium She's sitting across the room and I see that her friends keep glancing at me and my group Both our friends keep trying to shove us onto the floor to get us to dance but I didn't feel any song would be that good of a fit. I start to notice that other peers are glancing at the two of us and I realize that this whole situation isn't something murmured between just the two groups but our whole grade Needless to say, the pressure to have something of substance occur became more and more daunting. Just as I start to really feel all the butterflies in my stomach the perfect opportunity arises when "Thinking Out Loud" starts to play My friends immediately start to shove me and I knew that this was my chance. I stand up and start to walk over to her side of the room I can feel everybodys eyes on me as I walk past them, but I don't pay them any mind because I want to present myself with confidence. I struggle to think of something witty on the spot so I go with the obvious "would you like to dance?" She says yes and she takes my hand. My friends don't want us to get super nervous so they just start asking random people up to dance and within seconds we get pretty much everybody to stand up and slow dance. As we're within eachothers arms I start trying to get to know her I ask her about herself and her interests and she does the same. I start making her laugh and for the first time in my life I felt chemistry with someone. Time slows and pure dopamine runs through my veins I get comfortable and ask her out to a movie She excitingly says yes. After an exchange of smiles she lays her head on my shoulder and it feels like nothing else matters. This moment is all that's important The song ends and we exchange numbers "ouuuu's" are heard from nearby students and we part ways After we graduate we begin to text eachother very frequently. We decide on watching the animated movie "Inside Out" and I let her pick the seats. When the movie ends I take her to the arcade and win her a small plushie We begin to head out and I offer to take her home. She agrees and I take her to her doorstep She tells me that she had a lot of fun and would love to do this again sometime. We hug, she kisses me on the cheek, and we part ways once more. When I get home we immediately start texting. We text back and forth for hours a day, sometimes till after the sun rises the next day A couple weeks pass and I ask her on a second date. She couldn't go due to some family event but assures me that we will very soon. The next day I ask her how she's doing and get no response. I just dismiss it as her being busy and expected her to reply later that day. I didn't want to seem needy so I left it at that and she didn't respond at all. The next day I pretended as if it never happened and just proceeded to message her as usual but she seems... different now Her responses changed from excitement and interest to simple few worded answers and she didn't keep the conversation flowing I ask her what's wrong and she says it's nothing I thought to myself "Did I say something wrong? Have I done something bad to her? What could be the reason she's acting this way?" and I couldn't think of anything. Again I tried to look at the situation in an optimistic light and thought that maybe she's just having a bad day. The next day I attempt to spark up another conversation and get no response. I can take a hint so I leave her alone. The last time I ever saw her ended with a kiss on the cheek and the feeling of this relationship blossoming into something beautiful. But the last time I spoke to her I felt as if I did something wrong. As if I ruined something so pure and full of hope, but I don't think I did. I look back on that experience and can't seem to find any reason on my end for things to end the way that they did. But I hope she's doing well and can find happiness with someone else, even if that means I'll never get to see her again.

Every time I come across to these slightly depressed, lonely, and beautiful type of music, I recall one of my all time favorite lyrics, which is in English “dreaming of the other side of the moon”. You can’t see the darker half of the moon from Earth. So isolated. I feel like I’m listening this in my bed on a sleepless night, only me and the glowing moon are awake. There is something bubbling in my chest, like warm coffee with milk swirling in it.

Seeing this image in the video, I miss my old self, I also miss my high school classmates going out with them. We used to go to places like that on the image after our classes. And that sound, the music is relaxing while I'm listening to it. This music is good to hear, but it feels lonely.

Let me tell you a story, a story that starts in a coffee shop In a little country town there was a little coffee shop the place was never packed but never empty. Sat at a table in the back was a nice young male who was enjoying a cup of coffee while reading the news paper. This young man always came to the coffee shop at the same time, sat in the same place , and ordered the same cup off coffee. Everyone in the town knew this young sir but no one can get him to say more than his coffee order. It wasn't because he was rude or from a different country and couldn't speak the local tongue. No he was shyer than a scared fox, and his shyness kept him speaking. Well that changed the day that the coffee shop hired a new employee, when the new guy walks in and see the young man reading his paper and enjoying his drink he felt a pull at his heart strings. The young man who had his face hidden with the paper felt the same thing and looked up blushing when he saw the new guy. So for weeks the two kept eyeing each other too shy to say more than a few words to each other. One day the young sir didn't show up at his usual time which was a shocked to everyone. The next day the young man was a no show, this kept up for 2 weeks. Untill the employee who fell in love with the young man desided to visit the young man's home to see if he was OK. When he got there the employee was shocked to see the young man who always look happy and always brought life to the world was walking out his home with busies on his face and arms. The young man's father was yelling at him for being gay, the employee ran up and helped his love into his car and faced the yelling while the young man watched from the car in fear. Soon the employee comes back to the car and drives away taking his love with him. A few years later the two get married and adopt two kids and they live happily working at their own little coffee shop. I think I've found my people.

Once upon a time, i was sitting on the bench, ready for the bus to arrive at the station, it was dark and there was no one by my side. But slowly a guy came up and sat next to me, i couldn't see his face, just his eyes. He had a mask on (This is in South Korea, so a mask is quite common). He also had a hat on, with a comfortable common attire on. I don't know what attracted me to him, maybe his fashion sense, maybe just the comfort i had when he sat next to me.. I don't know, but at once i felt compelled to him. We got on the bus together, and he got off one station before me. And since then, i've waited every night in that same bus station, until it was the day i had to go back to the country i was living in and on the day i was going back to my home country. I went shopping and met him on a bus, it was destiny! He was wearing a white shirt, no mask to cover his face and he was with his grandma. He was standing quite close to me, allowing his grandma to sit comfortably on the seat. I felt my heart accelerate, the closeness of the guy i had been wanting to meet for days, was too much for me in a good way. And i overheard the conversation between his grandma and him, they were talking about going shopping before he went to the army. I was happy! I was going to leave Korea and then come back after two years. And going to the army takes about two years.... I thought this was destiny. And i haven't been able to get him off my mind..... I'm going to make sure to meet him next time i come and finally have the courage to talk to him!

Hey, You're not alone remember that

I love how most of the stories start with "so there's this girl" it really shows the pure love of the people in this chat. With that introduction I start mine So there's this girl who I've met about two weeks ago at a dance at we are already falling for each other so hard. Both of us have had past relationships that have failed misserably so idk why I'm going again. Maybe love is worth the risk of heartbreak. So far the love we have shared has been. I'm gonna leave home soon. Far away so I hope she waits for me when I come home from a long journey. I hope what we've started is gonna be something that'll last. I don't know if it will but that's the beauty of hope. Maybe she'll leave too but not to another place. Maybe she'll leave me for another guy. but that's ok. I'll get my heart broken and move on. The tea was still too hot to drink, and it would take longer than usual to cool because we were both too shy to leave our seats to ask for cream. Cafe Torelli was getting busier by the minute, the Sunday foot traffic picking up outside the huge glass display windows that let in the cold morning sunlight. It was November in London, the first time we met. The fact that you were finally in front of me was still surreal. There were moments when I'd just look at you and feel what I can only describe as being high on life, drunk on foreign oxygen. We'd waited a year for this, to be together in person, even though it was just for a long weekend. However, we wouldn't dare complain. How many teenagers get to fly across the world to meet their long-distance love? How many parents would be willing to support them? Not many, but by some miracle we were an exception. Now I was here, thousands of miles away from home, sitting in a coffee shop with you. We're talking, laughing, eating chocolate-chip brioches and drinking tea while you fold the empty sugar packet wrappers into claws. I still have three in a tiny envelope in my bedroom. We have a train to catch in fifteen minutes from Kew Gardens to Waterloo Station, and plans to go to the Royal Observatory before I fly back home tomorrow morning. I can't wait for the train, but I also never want my mug to empty. I want to stay here forever, surrounded by the warmth and smell of morning drinks and your voice, but I also want to take on the world with you. We have places to go, even more memories to make, and not nearly enough time. It's a bittersweet thought, but my sadness of having to leave is overridden by dopamine. You're here with me now, that's what matters. You keep playing with the necklace I gave you last night, a little black crown that matches the rose-gold one on my neck. A person came to you, as you look you were stunned unable to remove your stare. the person starts saying weird things like this person knew you before. the person asked you for a coffee. you agreed because surprisingly you felt the same too. you went to the nearest coffee shop. without asking the person ordered in the counter and came back with your favorite drink. from small talks to random chatting you became comfortable with this person and end up venting out your problems, your feelings, and what's wrongs. the person started complimenting you, "your'e beautiful, you know especially with that smile of yours, on how your eyes bend to smile too. you don't have to worry about things. stop over thinking. it's okay to cry to vent out your feelings, sleep it out if it makes you feel better but don't forget to stand up again. think of what makes you happy. you only live once why not make it a happy one? everything will be fine. you know i can live for that smile of yours. i want to see you wearing that everyday" Then you wake up. in a busy city, the rain pours. everyone has their own unique story or situation and consumed by their thought and worries. no one ever bothering to even take a moment to think about the moments that they just set aside. the ones that just pass by unnoticed while it's the future that gets all of the attention. and those times just get added to the past; the memories and childhood and good times. they are forgotten and deserted. every drop from the heavens represents a bequeathed second stolen and taken into the unforgiving hands of the dusked depths of the endless void of nothingness. you stop in the middle of the street instants before the stoplight flashes back to green. looking up to the faint abandoned sky, you see something you've never had before. something truthful. breathtaking. that feeling of being pulled out of the burdening oblivion. time resumes and you look out to reach for someone else to share the view with, but everyone else is just the same; rushing past. and you're alone. in a world full of secrets uncovered and truths untold, a sense is being unseen. concealed. suddenly you realize that no one surrounds you any longer and it takes a few minutes to fathom you're still where you've been. in the middle of the road, a light scintillates from the very corner of your field of vision, and everything fades to black. was it bad to be different? did you do something wrong to deserve the fate of ending up with those old memories? or was it an​ act of patronage; to no longer be with the broken society that can never be changed?

I'm not gonna lie, I tried this line out as a joke when I was in the city after my military interview (Which is probably what gave me the confidence to do this). And it worked. I thought it would be awkward or creepy, but it was just.... chill. It was lazy, relaxed, but not in a bad way. I guess there are just likeminded people out there who appreciate the casuality of it all.

These comments have gotten to me as well. So I'll tell my story. Me, lost of all hope in everything and everyone. I wanted to fly away and never look back, to an ideal planet. So, I dreamt of that "planet." Everything was still bad and heartbreaking but in the midst of all the ruckus was her. A girl who was simply a figment of my imagination yet so real. She had cool cyan hair and striking grey eyes and a voice you couldn't ignore. And best of all? She was freeing and she was loyal. I flew away with her. She made me feel wanted and loved. But, of course those feelings would end by the sting of the alarm. I would hope and praying she was real. Everyday I hoped she would walk through that door. She'd sit at my table and we'd just click. As if the universe came full circle. I hoped we'd run away and start a life. We would explore the world together and nothing would hold us back. But, everyday she didn't walk through that door made me dread the next. I knew in my heart she'd never appear. She'd never walk through that door and she was never real. It's ever hard to write it now. Reading the text back to myself and letting it sink in that in this over populated world I was alone. But, reading your stories and letting that dread and self doubt drip away filled an emptiness in my heart. Made me feel not so alone. So my dreams will stay my dreams. But this comment section is a reality. A better reality I could ever hope for. So I'll take your stories and take my own and use it to make a real one. I thank you all for being able to share because me and many others really needed it. Thanks for the coffee.
