Happy birthday, Santi ! Your kitchen looks warm and inviting. It looks wonderful because it feels like home. Oh the oven is gorgeous girl L. Wish I lived close by. XX ❤ Michele.
WOW the kitchen looks amazing so warm and inviting and look at little Santi he is growing so fast I can believe he is 1yr already he is absolutely adorable .. hell be walking soon guys 🥰
Harriett, you and Mauro are doing really well and the kitchen is airy and comfortable with all the things you need. Santi is so cute, he looks so interested in what happens around him, with his big eyes. Congrats on getting things fixed.❤
I am so happy for you all! You have worked so hard and deserve all the wonderful updates, Santi is so adorable and happy. Many more blessings to you! Janice from Arkansas USA
The hose clip is called a "hose clip" or sometimes a "jubilee clip". The electrical outlets on the wall are called "sockets" (not plugs). And it's standard practice to mount the sockets on wooden plinths, as you have done. Note that rubber gas pipes deteriorate and may need to be replaced every 2 years. The steel reinforced ones last longer but are less flexible. Oh, and all electrical connections on a potentially damp wall (especially in a steamy kitchen) should be coated with silicone grease to prevent corrosion. 🙂
Little Santi looks so healthy and happy, a beautiful boy! What a beautiful job just love the hanging lamp, and what a darling little stove and cute old fashioned outlets, good choice. Great job pulling it all together with more glass tile. Having the stove and of course some more light and storage will make things so much nicer and more functional! Best part you using bbq thongs to remove the drill bit .... priceless, you are so clever Harriet!
Oh my goodness I can not believe Santi is 1 year old already. Happy Birthday!! 💕 The kitchen is coming along nicely and I was sad to see this upload come to an end. I will eagerly await the next upload. Have a happy day 🌸🐨🌸
Happy birthday for the parents too. El primer año como padres me parece el más retador. Cada día es un logro. Os admiro mucho por todo lo que habéis hecho y vuestra forma de vivir en la naturaleza. Sois geniales.
Looks amazing, your hard work is showing. You are a beautiful family, love the little bits of seeing Santi. Glad that you are feeling a bit better Harriett, what a battle you have been through as well as Mauro. Wish you all the best❤❤
Your son has big shoes to fill and we are all sure he will succeed if he wants this life both mum and dad do an amazing job and together with so much love- best wishes for your future
I love tile as much as you do - maybe more! It comes it so many colors, textures and styles. It's green and waterproof. You choose such lovely ones also. I will say, to finish the look of your backdrop tiles in the kitchen you can by edging tiles. It would finish the look of it. :)
Golly you are doing an amazing job on the kitchen and the transformation is truly beautiful..so happy for your progress..🎉sending my best wishes for sati's very special day🎉he is growing so quickly..one year already..that's wonderful..🎉
Remembering when you said that your goal for 2024 was to finish things and just watching you achieve it so well - it's phenomenal. I wish I could do the same. It's so great seeing all these things coming to fruition for you. xx
Happy Birthday Santi, I can hardly believe a year has passed already. Well done on the new renovations. You are very busy people. Lots of love to you all. xxx
The kitchen looks so nice. I love mesh-backed tiles. Your ideas are both sensible and attractive. I am glad you are finally rid of the too-high burners - they looked far too dangerous. Very, very good, indeed.
Hola chicos, la cocina quedó hermosa. Felicitaciones por su trabajo! Muy feliz cumpleaños a Santi, no puedo creer que ya cumpla un año. Pronto lo veremos corretear por todos lados 😊. Cariños a los tres!
Harriet, you are an absolute machine! Your dedication, willpower and amazing skills never cease to amaze me and I'm confident you will be successful in anything you put your mind to. Your kitchen turned out brilliant! Thank you for sharing the journey and inspiring us. Also, Happy Birthday to Santi! ❤🎉
Harriet good things come to those who wait even if you have to do it yourselves but that’s half the fun it all looks fabulous. Happy 1st birthday Santi 🎈🎈🎂🥳🙋♀️🇦🇺
Hola. Another great video, more hard and productive work. As always it's delightful to see Santi, growing fast. Happy 1st Birthday beautiful boy. Love to you all ❤️
Congrats Harriet & Mauro on getting so much finished in the New kitchen👍👍, the Stove is fantastic upgrade, and tile grout completes it so well. And, Yay on the Power n lighting. Bravo... Be blessed 🙏🙏
Considering how crazy exciting it feels for me seeing the kitchen like this after following the whole process, i cant imagine how you guys must feel!!! Looks so pretty, cozy and warm 🧡🧡🧡 Great job guys!!!! Sois imparables !!!!
15:57 I was going to say this previously but I know you try to be frugal. You need a mains powered SDS Drill or hammer drill for those walls love! It would make things so much easier.
You both working hard for the future the kitchen looking nice Santi lovely growing fast now good to have the electrician for safety and you are always busy but you are enjoying life wish you good health and see you again bye
Happy Belated birthday Santi! I loved hearing Santi trying to talk.. Harriett, instead of using mortar for the tiles , you can use liquid nail , it's like glue but stronger , So when you get tiles that the sticky back won't work try the liquid nail. It comes in tubes like chalking does. It might have a different name over then what what we call it here in the U.S. A.
Helped friend at her store hung big sections of plywood to hang articles. Was a plaster over hard concrete, drilled out in plastic inserts applied silicone adhesive in hole and attached screws with round heads worked. Use type two cement with sodium cloride for fast strong drying when filling in gaps in blocks. Nice
Very clever setting in base, friend has one in 1911 wood garage, carefully to not overload with new house lighting and appliances, smaller will avoid tripped breakers
The kitchen is looking fabulous, love the cooker, one day we will graduate to one too... great idea to hang the cast iron, but just one word of warning, years ago we had heavy objects in a cupboard above a cooker and something fell breaking the glass top...
♥ the retro light fittings and your oven. I think it's a lovely kitchen, in keeping, with the cottage. I know that you've reduced the amount of building materials, but I think that you should treat yourself to a proper builders yard, to get the the clutter out of the garden and create discrete areas - covered areas, shelving, staking etc 😉
Your kitchen looks so beautiful now. Those tiles kinda bring out more light almost making it look bigger. To carry with the theme of copper I wonder if you'll have one of those copper pots & pans stuck on the wall theme once all the work on fixtures is done. Also I could see you having a lovely thin lining curtain & a side clay flower pots. Your mini side veg garden is looking vibrant. can you share your watering & nutrient routine? I tried growing zucchinis but they always had flowers that never turned to vegs!
