Most of the youtubers in Bali just show themselves half naked and fully tatoos on instagram pictures. So disapointed ! You even learn Insonesian wish is very respectfull towards locals I think. next time visit Dieng, Wonosobo, a highland place in Central Java with cold air, you will get a more beautiful view there because there are many mountains surrounding it... And one more thing, visit the Tambi tea garden, which is near Dieng Wonosobo

We are in Sulawesi utara. For beautiful we use moi and fasung (fatsoen). and many more words in Dutch we use in here. Like oma, opa, voor, vork, broer, sus, klaar, benaut (fenaut) , hoek, afsprak, swembak (zwembad), vruk (vroeg), suak (zwag), mar (maar). Still more.

We are in the north-west part of Indonesia which got direct maritime border to Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam. There are 4 islands recommended to visit : BATAM, BINTAN, ANAMBAS and NATUNA.. you can Googling them to find out.. Beaches are amazing, peoples are amazing.. Ummm, I think you need to read a bit about the Dutch conquest of Bali in 1906. You are not to blame for any of that, but as you say you had no idea that Singaraja/ Buleleng used to be the main Dutch port and you probably don’t know about some other history as well. The Puputan monument in Denpasar is there for a reason, as is the small remnant of the Klungkung Palace.
A small Belgian team set out to walk Bali from west to east in a straight line. Jungle in west Bali proved impenetrable, so they diverted around it, but they did reach the eastern tip of Bali I believe. I met them at Kintamani.
