I’ve been a little late but I’ve been waiting for you guys to watch this so bad

It's definitely the one of the movies that is closest to the books, but it pisses me off that they've changed her personality so much that you can't even tell it's the same person. Her fear of Four is not that he will rape her or not respect her, but to be intimate - because they are both from a faction where you don't show emotions very often. (And they aren't intimate until later, when the movie makes it seem like they're together pretty quickly.) Fearing that she will kill her family, she also does the opposite, she chooses to die for them in the simulation rather than be responsible for their death. It's a big turning point for her because she left the Puritans because she thought she wasn't selfless. There are many other things, but this is what pisses me off the most that they have changed. Otherwise, I thought the actors were cast well, the mood is cool, etc. Such a shame that they have changed so much - but this film is pretty close. Much of the backstory never makes it into the movie, or is changed far too much… At the end of the first movie/book, she is pretty much in shock. Several of her biggest fears have come true. Including Janine placing her in a glass tank that is filled with water - because she thought it might be interesting to see how a divergent would react to her fear scenario if she (like the "normal") doesn't see it as fake. BUT I LOVE the books!!! They are really good. Have read them a few times and the ending (which is totally changed in 3 movies) is wildly impactful. Thanks for the video 🙂

YOU young sir, very likely could be Divergent. I see honesty in you (Candor), helpfulness (Abnegation), brilliantly smart (Erudite) or living in happiness with Jane in Amity. You would have to watch your back, my man!! 🤪🤣🤪 This is Kate Winslet’s first time to play a villain and she loved it, she had so much fun! But did you notice she was always carrying books or folders, etc.? That was because she was 5 months pregnant and was showing. The guy that played Four, Theo James, is British also. He was in Downton Abbey plus a whole lot more. He did a great American accent, which is good because he is going to marry ME one of these days! 🤤🤤 Miles Tiller is very close friends with Shailene Woodley. When they had to fight in the ring they were both afraid of hurting each other, especially Miles hurting Shailene. They just kept breaking out in laughter during filming. Four tells Tris to jab him in the throat and watch him because he always steps before he punches. When she did the jab she actually make hard contact, so when you hear him gasp, it was real! She felt so bad she started crying. (This happens a lot more on movie sets than you think. It happened to me.) This film is so much better than “The Maze Trilogy”. Your going to enjoy the second one, too. It’s just as good as the first. But the second one didn’t make as much money so the studio was going to pull the plug on the third one. Shailene wanted the trilogy finished, so it was made for straight to cable/video… it isn’t as good… I’m looking forward to watching your reactions to the second one! (If you don’t do the third, no one would be upset by that. 😊) **After the Divergent series, Shailene and Ansel Elgort (that played her brother) did another film together that you MUST SEE!! “Fault in our Stars” is such a beautiful, wonderful film and both of the leads work SO well together as boyfriend and girlfriend. PLEASE, PLEASE watch it as your third Divergent film! Thanks for the fun I had tonight!

I know you guys probably watched them all already in Patreon but definitely read/listen to the novels because they’re way better than the movies, specially with what happened at the end of the series.
