In all seriousness about Catfish though, some of the catfishers are actually genuinely horrible people (they range from vengeful exes to total strangers) that enjoy tormenting the unsuspecting victims by destroying their self-confidence, ability to form relationships, & ability to trust others. Idk just an observation I've made from seeing the show so often. *Edit: And as we can see this Catfish episode is a prime example of that
