The saddest part is that you'll never see a movie like this one ever again. Because Hollywood has got a stick shoved so far up its' own anus, that it wants to just throw crap, and remakes, at us over and over again, rather than put any effort into making new stuff. Such a tragedy that we never truly appreciated Hollywood at its' best.
@@jacob4920there’s some good comedies like the madea movies except those aren’t parodies. Nowadays they focus on remakes, animated, or new horror movies.
He's great in everything he's been, including Alvin and The Chipmunks 2 and Pitch Perfect 2. They so need to react to Pitch Perfect 1 and 2, I guess they would have to do 3 to complete the trilogy lol
I'm 32 now and this movie is definitely childhood nostalgia for me. I remember one day I was watching it, and the whole time I was trying to wiggle a loose baby tooth out. It finally popped out during the skeleton chasing Cindy and Brenda scene. Ahhh, such good memories. Definitely watch Signs, 8 mile and The Ring to understand most of the jokes for Scary Movie 3.
0:09 A lot of people don't get that Firestone joke with the wheelchair. That was a reference to a recall on Firestone tires ,tires were randomly failing and people were having accidents especially Ford owners of" Explorers" cause Firestone was the main tire supplier so there was this huge dispute between Ford and Firestone on who was actually guilty for all the accidents/deaths and recalls.
Bahahaha I love the movies this sequel parodies: The Exorcist, Save The Last Dance, House on Haunted Hill, 90s Nike Basketball Commercial, What Lies Beneath, Charlies Angels, Poltergeist, Hannibal, Thirteen Ghosts, Titanic, Hollow Man, etc. 😂
The Basketball Commercial bit is so terribly dated that less and less people, over time, are going to understand what it means, and not find it as funny anymore. The only reason I know what it means is pretty much just because I'm old. lol
This franchise had a style of its own with an excess of humor assumed that is terribly missing today! If we needed a sequel or a reboot it’s SCARY MOVIE that I would like to see again! And ANNA FARIS & REGINA HALL was so talented in acting faces in these movies ! Iconics !

The lady singing at the start of the movie is Veronica Cartwright who played Lambert in "Alien" and Cathy in "The Birds". Maybe check out "The Birds' sometime it's an Alfred Hitchcock classic from 1963.
"Scary Movie 2" is one of those rare unicorns of Hollywood history: A SEQUEL THAT WAS ACTUALLY BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL MOVIE!!!! Not that the original movie was bad at all... "Scary Movie 2" was just on another level!

@ The Perfect Mix Please understand that the next 2 movies although are no longer owned by the Wayans brothers, are still high quality comedy and definitely worth watching as i believe they are better than this one. Except for the first one. Scary Movie 1 is by far the best, but 3&4 still are great. We don't even acknowledge 5's existence. Thats a whole different type of garbage and if you are to make it past Scary Movie 4, skip straight into Superhero Movie and/or BASE-ketball.
I wish you had seen that Nike basketball commercial they had back in the day. That parody in the movie would have made much more sense lol. Makes me feel old.
I'll always remember the opening scene help me through the trauma of watching The Exorcist for the first time. The priest saying, "Fuck this!" Is so damn funny. 😆
In my opinion 1 and 3 are the funniest Scary Movies, 3 is the goat. The Detroit scene has stuck with me forever it's just perfect. Also the rap battles are hilarious. And the president is fantastic, of course he's the goat of comedy but still
Experiencing these movies all over again with you guys has been so much fun. These were made back when comedy was allowed to be more offensive, more raw. I'm happy to see people can still laugh and enjoy it as something that's supposed to fun. 😂🤣
The scene where the girl says "I think your wife suspects us" and the face changes is from a suspense thriller "What Lies Beneath" with Harrison Ford, pretty good movie. The goggles and some scenes are from horror "Hollowman" with Kevin Bacon, not bad either. And lastly, you may have already known the Charlie's Angel's sequence. Great reaction. Yeah, these spoofs really pack in a lot of material. I think the 2 main movies for Scary movie 3 is "Signs" with Mel Gibson, and the Matrix.
