@@focusyy its not $10k worth of technology. I understand paying $200 for specially fabricated foam but $10-40k for a motor that tightens laces and a light at the bottom is rediculous. Technology on your feet my ass. These should be $300 max. The components are less than $50. It only costs so much because its limited release. Just pay your local engineer friend a few hundred and they could convert all your shoes to self lacing. Also its nice in theory but once the battery runs out or the motor breaks you cant even tie or untie your shoes.

Already saw a replica being sold, from China (Ebay). It didn't take them long, did it. But they look very different tho. Pretty sure that the Chinese counterfeit will explode on your feet after 10 minutes of wearing them. ^^
Idk you can buy fake ones theyre a lot cheaper like around $100 and its almost exactly the same. They make it look like nike barely did any work but just made it 90k.
"Self-lacing": hand-fastens a Velcro strap, pushes a button, and waits 3 minutes for ready-laced laces to tighten, and for a few useless lights to blink 😒

These could be potentially really great and helpful for people with different types of disabilities and/or illnesses who aren’t able to use tie-up or velcro shoes. Too bad they are too expensive and aren’t practical for everyday wear. Would love to see Nike create a self lacing shoe that is more reasonable.
