Our Poland road trip has begun as we pack our bags and hit the road.
First up we left Warsaw and headed to our first stop in our eastern road trip which was the cute little town of Kazimierz Dolny. Here we got to see what a town with 15th, 16th and 17th century buildings look like.
That night we spent exploring the night markets in Lublin before heading to bed and starting day 2 of our road trip exploring the Lublin castle and the painted church.
We then spent the rest of our day exploring the Majdanek concentration camp just outside of Lublin before making our way to Zamosc for the night.
Day 3 of our road trip began in the very colorful old town of Zamosc and we started our day nice and slow before heading to a Polish winery, met some Alpaca friends, had a tasty home cooked meal before heading onto Sandomierz.
Our final day on the road trip we headed to Krzyżtopór Castle before making our way back to Warsaw.
Where we stayed:
In Lublin - Hotel Wieniawski: fave.co/2MvDOvN
In Zamosc - Hotel Arte: fave.co/33nEdHP
In Sandomierz - Sarmata Hotel: fave.co/2IEj83L

You probably visit during the european festival of taste, we have many cultural events for example: night of culture, art-masters carnival, Jagiellonian fair, different sounds festival, Lublin jazz festival and many others ;) This year was also 450th anniversary of Polish-Lithuanian Union which took place in Lublin. There is a lot to see so please come again :) I'm glad you enjoyed visit Poland :)

From Lublin Nice commentary! How is it during December-January? We’ll probably travel by bus (during our stay near Martin, Slovakia) to visit my daughter’s classmates from California who are students in Lublin. Where can you recommend to stay in case the students cannot accommodate us? Is it worth going during the holidays or is it still nice in January? Please recommend favorite restaurants, cafés, and pubs. Also, how does Lublin celebrate New Year’s Eve?

I always wanted to visit Poland but now I feel I want to go right now.😂 I want to encourage you to do a roadtrip in Hungary too. Most people think Budapest is the only place that's worth the time to visit, but there is so much more. My favourite place in the country is Lillafüred. There is a gorgeous caste(where you can stay), a beautiful lake and it is in Bükk mountains where you can go hiking or just enjoy the amazing view. Summer and autumn are the best period of the year to visit this incredible place, but I'm quite sure you may enjoy your trip in every time of the year.

Fair Dinkum, I do have to remind our wonderful Australian friends, how the Polish people and Nation were betrayed by the Anglo Saxon powers during the start of World War 2 and after the glorious win or conclusion of this terrible war. Great Britain declared war on Germany after its invasion of this country. The Poles fought hard against the invading Germans and also against the allies of the west, the Soviet Union. The Polish air force fought in the Battle of Britain and the Polish army fought in almost every theatre against the German forces. This effort was rewarded by the western allies, by allowing the Soviet Union to dominate and punish the Polish nation for almost 50 years !!!!!!! Ipso facto Poland was treated as an ENEMY STATE by the winning powers. I am surprised that not one person dared to mention or at least refer to this Historical Fact.

The Video also contains comments about the "Holocaust", "Communism" "Auschwitz" "the rebuilding of Warsaw ""Food" and "History" etc.. So far 14 people indicated their support for what I stated, hopefully I will get some more likes. I presume you disagree with what I wrote, because it is not a historical fact ? I am happy to reply. To be honest, it is irritating for me, and others to suffer this sort of left wing criticism, in not allowing others to state the obvious truth, especially when it comes to immediate Polish history. Under Communism people were jailed and executed if they dared to say the truth. The EU is heading to be an Opinionated left wing opinion factory, which you obviously support.

Wow, you had a whole castle to yourselves how cool it that! And when you were walking thru the tunnel and said you needed a hard hat all I could think about was Jamie and Cersei 😂 they could've used one too.

You are such a sweethearts! Enjoy My Country! And come back soon! Lublin...is not a small town at least by Polish standards..LoL...if 350 000 town is small....well maybe by Tokio, Beijing...or NYC standards.. . Zamosc used to be a big fortress ...in 17th century is was stormed multiple times by Cossacks, Swedes, Turks and Tatars but was never taken by neither of them.

Awesome idea guys for road trip in the East. Especially liked Kazimierz Dolny! And Zamosc! Loved the educational and respectful way to show the camp as well. Who am I kidding the whole video was great! Lublin and country side too :)

You should say Nazi Germans camp. They still alive, and they are Germans. Using "nazi" is wrong because people think they are a different nation. BTW it's very beautifull country, where if you say someone simple "dziekuje" they are so happy

Thank you for showing that part of Poland, where I came from. It is beautiful country, I don't mind saying so. And like western countries is cheaper, and as much to see as in the England, France or Italy! Little update; Lublin is actually a city with more then 300 000 population.

So technically those are not dumplings, they are pierogi. We have dumplings and they are made of only dough and usually smothered in gravy or a butter sauce with herbs.

@@rtservice6858 These people are very rude. And no they were not onthe Polish Side of the Tatra Mountains. The people who have commented here do not understand that. I was lucky enough to just visit Krakow, and Zakopane. Wonderful Trip and the sleeping knight is a sight to behold. Can not say enough also it was the best food we had on our 17 day trip from Amsterdam to Zakopane. And we ate a LOT of food.

They have been in Poland half a month ago, at least. These vlogs go through some serious editing by Stephen, which takes some time to be ready. I imagine they can't just upload everywhere either, because good Internet isn't yet something you can find everywhere. So, suggestions are long overdued. It's better to keep track of their Instagram accounts to suggest things. They usually let their followers know where they are and open to suggestions on what to do

We seem to be following each other. We did Poland in August. It is a beautiful country. Go north as well now. Don't forget to do the free walking tours in each place, It is amazing the information with guides have. We are on country 59 Croatia. We have pulled off the road for the first time in 3 years for 10 days. We are exhausted. Love Ro and Mark @travellersnestnz
