Thank you!! 🥰🥰 It was so amazing. Almost as amazing as seeing a comment from you guys- our travel and editing inspiration 🥺💕 hopefully we’ll cross paths some time during our travels!
@@GoForLaunchVideos Its our favorite ship so shes like home BUT I am so please how well your video represented all she has to offer and the editing again! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 stars
I literally stumbled across this clip and you both are awesome! My sister and I booked this cruise from Melbourne a few weeks ago for Nov 2024 and you have got us so much more excited now! You remember me of exactly how my sister and I are, we felt your excitement!! Thank you for for taking us on your journey, what a wonderful walk-through of your experience. So glad you both had lots of fun!! Now a new subscriber and cant wait to see your next adventures xx
I am so glad that more people in the world get to experience this incredible ship! I have been on the Disney Wonder 3 times and love that ship.what an amazing vacation y'all had!!
WONDERFUL video ladies. My son and I shared the basketball courts with you both when you were filming. It seems we were on the same rotational dining schedule and were neighbours aboard (we were room 7060) You captured the magic of our entire trip! I’ll check out your other videos as we are planning either Tokyo or WDW next! Awesome job, take care!
Funny you mentioned about basketball skills, my husband thought you two had a basketball background! With the towel animals, I thought the Mickey hat was a sting ray, whoops 😅
My cruise is in February. Loved the video and review. Unlike a certain one I saw on TikTok where they absolutely complained about EVERYTHING. They complained about filtered coffee and saying they couldn't get any other coffee anywhere and also complained about the buffet being too American and not having other cultures food. Lol. Glad you guys had a good time.
Great video! I was on the Transpacific sailing that brought the Wonder to Sydney. The sail to down under was marvelous, with a bit of rocking on the last sea day also. The Wonder and Magic are my two favorite ships. Crew was marvelous.
Haha awww thank you so much!! Comments like that truly mean so much to us. We’re so glad you enjoyed the video and even happier that you’ll be heading on your own cruise - you’ll have an amazing time!!
What a sensational video. Must've taken a long time to edit. You've convinced me to try and book one for their late 2024 Aus cruises. The restaurants loook so cool!!!
Full credit to rosh on the editing! Edited during the cruise and for two days straight afterwards! Ahhhh yay!! That’s so exciting! You’ll have an amazing time! And yep the restaurants are really cool - animators palate was definitely our favourite! Thanks for watching 😊
I’ve just stumbled across your channel, and much like the many other comments, just wanted to say how incredible the quality of your videos are! The editing is top quality and so mesmerising, and had me laughing out loud many times 😂 You guys seem like such lovely, fun people, and it is a crime the number of subscribers you currently have! Looking forward to following and immediately bingeing(?) (“binging” looked wrong) the rest of your channel! Good luck for the future when you have millions of subs 🎉
Glad y’all finally got to go on a Disney Cruise . It’s one of most fun things any Disney fan can do….Right after visiting all the parks of course. That Australia exclusive merch looks so cool. Especially the spirit jersey and Mickey plush . I wish we could all order all the Disney Cruise Merch ever created on the Disney website. I’d go broke!
We agree! We weren’t sure how we’d feel about it but we had the most amazing time! Haha we feel that! If we weren’t in the middle of full time travel on a budget we probably would’ve bought the store 😂😂
😮😮 you got Churro Mickey Waffles on the first breakfast. That is great. While you were on the Wonder, I was on her sister ship the Magic in America. We didn't get Churro Mickeys until our last day at sea. I'm so jealous of your Animator's Palace experience. We didn't get the enlivening of our art work. Isn't that first hug from Mickey just magical? Your experiences compared to the Magic is very different, which is great to see. It means the trip I want to take on the Wonder will be very different. As for the Hobart stop, I can assure you the people of Hobart loved it and I'm glad Disney decided to include us.
We’d love to do one of the other ships in the future! Did you enjoy the Magic? We would have loved to explore more of Hobart - if it wasn’t our first time on the Wonder we definitely would have ventured out but we were desperate to take in everything the ship had to offer! Thanks for watching 😊
The Magic was beautiful. It is the sister ship to the Wonder. It was also our first Disney cruise and our first ever sea cruise, so I understand the ship investigation feeling. After watching your video, there were a ton of differences. We had fireworks on pirate night, it was also a Halloween cruise, so all the characters were in their Halloween costumes. The restaurants were different as well. We had Animator's Palate, Lumiere's and Rapunzel's Royal Table. Our Animators didn't have the interaction yours did. Depending on what day you hit Hobart makes a difference as to what you would have time for. Saturday gives you a chance to go through our famous Salamanca Market, or if it's offered on the cruise MONA is a great place to visit, within easy reach. I loved how you covered the inaugural sailing of the Wonder in Australian waters. I hope more people venture on her, but the price is super expensive compared to all the others that are well established here. I will also be checking out more of your content, if Jess and Steve follow you, that peaks my interest. @@GoForLaunchVideos
Hey guys! I was blown away by your intro! I could tell there was a lot of work put into the editing! I enjoyed how genuinely happy you guys were😄. I cruised the Disney Wonder out of San Diego in May 7th-11th 2023, just before it came to Australia! I made some videos on that too, but I enjoyed yours much more, LOL! Keep up the good work! Also, just curious to know what type of camera did you use?
Awww thank you so much, that means a lot! We use a bunch of different camera gear, but our main camera is the Sony ZV-e10 with the Tamron 11-20mm f/2.8 lens. The rest of our camera gear is all outlined in this article: www.goforlaunchvideos.com/travel-blog/our-camera-gear if you're interested at all 😊
I was binge watching an american vlogger on the Disney Wish Cruise & then thought to myself hang on isn't the Disney Cruise in New Zealand & Auzzie right now. Found your vlog & channel and wow so glad I found y'all .I was thinking about booking for next years season 2024/25 from Auckland. Your video has just cermented to do just that & book. But I'm thinking about flying over to Sydney now from NZ because that view of the harbour bridge & opera house before sailing is just 🤌 chef kiss. Thanks for the video your trip looked amazing and has made me super excited for planning mine now.
Aww thank you!! We’re so glad you enjoyed and found it helpful. You will definitely have an amazing time! If you are booking a Sydney one I would try and confirm where it’s departing from because we believe some depart from the O/S passenger terminal (where we departed from near the harbour), but we think some depart from a different terminal, so best to double check! The view was absolutely amazing - was the perfect way to start an Australian Disney cruise 😊
Brilliant work guys...Great presentation and pacing. We were on the Wonder in August and have been following its movements across the Pacific. Nice to see a couple of familiar faces in the video. Heading over to watch your new Canadian videos as we were in the Rockies after our cruise. Keep up the great work and hope you can monetize your channel soon.
Can't hardly wait to experience the Disney Cruise by myself while they open the new route in South East Asia (Singapore) for the first time really soon!
I really enjoyed your thorough coverage of the ship and the tips you gave! I'm going on the Wonder in March when it's back in California, and I am so excited! Looks like you had a very fun trip 😁
Ahhh that’s so fun! We would have loved to do one that went to New Caledonia, that will be amazing! And Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique I’m sure will be her highlight!
Just came across your video - love it! We sail soon, so this was a great way to get across what's in our Aussie/Kiwi sailings. Thanks (and subscribed)!
First time I've come across your channel and I'm glad I did. Thank you for giving a factual, interesting and fun vlog on this beautiful ship. New subscriber
Thank you ladies for the lovely video, can’t wait to embark the ship tomorrow at Melbourne’s station pier, also heading towards Hobart (where else could it be 😂)
Your cruise looked amazing!!! So glad you guys popped up on my YT as we’ve just recently done the Disney wonder in Alaska back in September and now living in New Zealand for a year…. So that means we need to plan and book an Australian or NZ sailing for 2024! Hope you enjoyed the cruise and hopefully we can see another DCL vlog in the future 🥰 🚢
Ahhh we would love to do an Alaska cruise!! Definitely on our bucket list! You guys should definitely do one of the sailings next year - cross off the Disney Wonder in every continent it cruises in 😄 thanks for watching!
@@GoForLaunchVideos oh you need to add it to your list! It was magical! Ooo yess I definitely think it might be possible to squeeze a sailing in either of the two destinations! 🙊🙊
Great video. I would love to see more video of the cruise buffets, especially if they have a separate gluten-free section. Looking forward to my Disney cruise next year.
Thank you! You’ll have a blast on your cruise. We didn’t take note of a gluten free section however we’ve read on others who said they found it pretty easy to get gluten-free food onboard. Although not sure how this applies to the buffet!
Thanks to your channel, I am having some great ideas what to do in the Disney cruise sailing from Sydney port, stop along to Hobart port and back to Sydney port. I had big misunderstanding thinking that these 4 days cruise stop at Hobart port, but it’s NOT. Thank you for that, as I am planning for the same trip as you guys from Sydney stop at Hobart port and back to Sydney. I almost thinking booking straight away for the hotel in Hobart, turns out you don’t need to as we come back to Sydney for these 4 days cruise trip.
Really good video, well edited and a worthwhile watch to anyone thinking of travelling with DCL. A couple of things for your fact pack .... the picture of Walt in front of the Walt Disney theatre has his fingers scrubbed out as he was holding a cigarette and he didn't want it shown in photos, you can see the curl of smoke still though (it's in every copy of that photo). Also, the ceiling on deck 5 is slightly lower than every other deck and this is because of the childrens clubs on that deck. It's designed to make the children feel more comfy .. you can see the difference in heights in your videos quite clearly. Lastly, Cabanas is not generally open for dinner, it used to be before Covid, but it's just breakfast and lunch now. So glad you enjoyed the cruise and here's hoping you are able to take another in the future.
Thank you so much for the lovely comment and those facts!! The deck 5 one is a really good one! I’m not sure what made us think Cabanas was open for dinner but we’ve had a few people mention that it’s not - we must have been in a food coma and delirious 😂 Thanks again!
Was lovely meeting and hanging out with you both! Sorry we couldn’t help win you both a medal 😔 Love the video and look forward to seeing more of your adventures!!!
I have been interested in the Australia itinerary for the Wonder and was very pleased to see this come up on my feed! When you said your subscriber count I was outraged on your behalf because the quality of this video is great! I was very pleased you’ve hit monetization and am pleased to say I’ve subscribed too. 😊
Wow! Just wow!! My family and are booked for the October 2024 cruise from Brisbane on the Wonder! Im definitely taking all of your advice on board. You have a new subscriber and am loving all your other vlog adventures 💜
Hi u came up under home. We went from England to Sydney and Melbourne I. April 2018. On the way home we flew from Melbourne to Hong Kong to go go Hong Kong Disney. We loved it
What a trip!! Only Stace has been to Hong Kong disney but not since 2009 - I’m sure it’s changed so much since then. We’ll have to add it to our to do list!!
Big fan of YT travel vlogs such as Kara & Nate, and then it’s funny that your video popped up tonight, because I heard the Disney Wonder Horn tonight in Melbourne actually 😂 At first I thought someone in my apartment complex was playing the Tuba hahah… But in all seriousness I’m gobsmacked your channel only has 1.5k subs and not more views than it has. The editing is top notch, hope this blows up your channel in a big way. Stay humble and enjoy the ride 😀
Hahaha it does sound like a really loud tuba! We were driving on the westgate today and saw it docked in Melbourne for our first time which was exciting! Aww thank you so much for those kind words, we truly appreciate it and it means a lot! 😊😊
It was definitely more expensive than our previous royal Caribbean cruise but we in our experience we found the inclusions were different and could justify a higher price point (eg roaming characters, themed dining, more personalised experience etc).
With the amount of amenities you get it’s soooooooo worth it!!!!!! I’ve been on a Disney cruise and other cruise companies and Disney includes ALOT of things!!!!
@@PRIME024 Yeah, I've only just dabbled lightly in the world of 'luxury' cruising, and found this to also be the case with Cunard - lots included so very limited onboard additional spend, which was great!
Tokyo Disney is the best!! Stace has been to Hong Kong Disney as well but a longggg time ago so it’s very different now! You’ll have the best time if you go!
My mum and I are catching the Disney Wonder here in NZ in early December this year and honestly after watching this video I am looking even MORE forward to the cruise! Do they actually sell Golden Mickeys as merch on the cruise as well cause I would love to get one
Ahhh you will have an amazing time!! December will come around before you know it! I believe they do sell the golden mickeys, I think it’s just a matter of stock levels when you go, but given you’re going in December you should hopefully be okay!
We were on one of the first too. She is forgetting to add that is crazy crowded all the time. The food is good but we saw a guy take a whole container of crab legs and then bother to give anyone else some. Basically it was really good and we enjoyed the cruise but just be realistic and the character greets U can be waiting up to 2 hours.
Yeah the characters definitely had lines, and we ended up deciding to only meet two and explore other activities on the ship, but we’re comparing the crowds to disneyworld which feels like a totally different level 😂 we thankfully didn’t experience any food related greediness! We’re glad you still had a good time though!
I’m really looking forward to going on the cruise in February! 🚢 Did you see if any of the gift shops sell the Ariel statue as a tiny figurine? I’ve seen that sometimes they have them on Disney Wonder. I really want one! 🧜🏻♀️
You’ll have an amazing time!! Hopefully warmer weather than us 😅 We personally didn’t notice them but I’m pretty sure I’ve seen others in Facebook groups mention that they bought them on the ship!
Hey! Check out our DISNEYWORLD Playlist 👉🏼ru-vid.com/group/PLQiaFpppIQTf98I3DyoUmKTYK7D33b78j And make sure you subscribe to the channel so you don't miss any of our future adventures! 🥰 Thanks for watching 🫶
Oh no!!! That’s so unfortunate ☹️ we had heard about this happening on other cruises in the past so were wondering what would happen on the Australia & NZ cruises!
So exciting! Thank you for sharing! I’m going on the crusie in January from Sydney to Hobert! Wondering if your pyjamas were from the gift shop or if you ordered them before they are so cute for the cruise?!
You’ll have the best time!! We bought those beforehand - they were from Peter Alexander quite a while ago to save for the cruise, hopefully they still have some!
You’ll have a great time! They were shut on our last sea day due to rough seas that kept causing the pools to flood the deck. I believe there was a storm off the coast of Sydney that caused the bad weather, so hopefully that’s not the norm! They were open the rest of our cruise 😊
Did you really only have 831 subscribers when you filmed this video? It says it was 6 days ago that it was uploaded and you are at 1.59k now! Way to go. Also, I subscribed! Looking forward to more of your travels
Hoping to go in 2024 but not booked yet. Was supposed to go on the Disney Wish at end of November in the Bahamas but had to cancel my holiday due to health (thanks cov vax for heart issues). Saturday is going to be a tough day (when I was supposed to fly out to WDW for 4 weeks). Am heart broken.
@chalronbjork4766 oh no ☹️☹️ hopefully you can get back one day - it will make it even more exciting when you do get back! Hopefully your health is on the mend!
haha the purple one is from Walt Disney World and the retro looking one is from Disneyland Paris! Might need to book some flights 😛 The blue one was from the cruise itself!
It looks awesome. I hope one day, probably in many years, we can sail on her, also hoping that Disney keeps sailing in Australia long enough to have that opportunity. Pricing seems pretty much in line with most other luxury lines sailing from Australia, perhaps a little more. I do feel it's a shame though that, unlike many other lines, gratuities aren't included in the fare and need to be considered as part of the total cruise budget.
Fingers crossed! We’ve only heard good things from the first few sailings so hopefully they continue coming!! We found the gratuities a little confusing to wrap our heads around as well but were happy that these were just charged to our onboard account at a standard rate so we didn’t have to try and work out an appropriate amount. For reference, they suggested around 14.50 USD per person per day and then this is split between your servers and room attendant!
We didn’t book anything - we just did all the free activities which you don’t need to book. We enjoyed all of those, but if you’re particularly interested in any of the paid activities then definitely worth booking! There just weren’t any that really appealed to us 😊
Ooooh - look at that view count after just 2 days. How exciting to be on the inaugural cruise. Weink I went on Disney Magic about 20 years agos. We decided not to do the Wonder in Australia as I don't think I could cope with only 4 days !!! I'd never thought about getting exclusive merch though!! We are definitely going to a Disney cruise again one day (now we don't have little kids to look after). I love the PJs. Looks like you both had a fabulous time. Are you staying in Australia for a visit home or headed back overseas?
It definitely felt short compared to our 7-day one last year but was worth it! Hopefully you guys can jump on one of the Australian ones in the next few years! We didn’t intend to buy merch because of the budget but Stace got sucked in with the exclusive nature of it 😂😂 We’ll be in Australia for roughly 2-3 weeks to attend some weddings (and catch up on editing) and then will be headed back overseas!
Omg you’re back in Australia?! Will you be going back on the road after the cruise? You girls are living my actual dream right now haha, I’m desperate to go on Disney cruise, my husband is reluctant so looks like I’ll be going alone haha!! They had some at sea cruises from the UK during Covid that just literally went out to sea and back for a few nights but I missed it! Maybe one day I can do it!
We will! We have a few weeks in Melbourne to attend some weddings and then will be back on the road 😁 You definitely should! You should definitely go, even if alone! There were lots of solo travellers on ours and the rotational dining is a great way to meet people!
Im glad i saw your vlog.. im cruising from Auckland in a few weeks from now.. also with the same ship you were on.. so did you end up seeing Capt Jack Sparrow? Also, any plans on doing a merch haul for all those gems you found from the shops? More power to you both!🎊🎉🛳⚓️🙌
Captain Jack did some meet and greets on pirate night which was fun! No merch haul unfortunately - we’re travelling full time at the moment so are a bit budget constrained, but Stace did pick up the AU/NZ pin, as well as the AU/NZ spirit jersey 😁
We honestly loved both for different reasons! Harmony of the Seas was a much much bigger ship, so we liked the onboard activities a lot more and found there was a lot more variety in things to do, but we are also big Disney lovers so we loved the whole atmosphere on the Disney cruise. The Disney cruise also felt more personal (our room attendant greeted us by name whenever we saw him etc). I think if you aren’t a big Disney fan (or like more adult things like drinking, casino etc), then we’d recommend royal Caribbean, however if you love all things Disney than the Disney cruise is definitely worth it! And we’ll caveat all of the above by saying that it will also depend on the ship! Harmony of the Seas is still a fairly new ship and one of the biggest in the world, however if you get an older ship your experience might be different!
