so while we we were in philadelphia a few months ago, we decided to stop by this insomnia cookie speakeasy 🍪 from the outside, it looks just like a regular insomnia cookies location, but if you go up to a bookshelf and say the password, you are transported into secret cookie lab! a cookie lover's paradise ✨ we tried some of their secret menu items and although they were VERY sweet, most of them were also pretty good! are there any other secret locations we should check out?? 🤔 #secret #speakeasy #food #sweets

Would be hilarious if it was attached to a hotel and part of the secret menu was the 'sedation special.' It costs extra because they will have someone cart your sleepy self to bed (in your hotel room). Absolutely not actually plausible, but would be hilarious none the less. 😂

Definitely agree with the underdone. Don't have one where I live now, but there was one where I went to college. Got it once and was not expecting the all but cookie dough center at all. Bit too underdone for me.

Back in 2018, they were cooked like welldone, like a cookie should be cooked!!! Like soft but no mush what so ever. I tried them this year i said WHAT THE FUCK???? It falling apart and it like droopy holy fuck man..... i felt i was eatting raw warm dough.

I have been there. It was way smaller than it looks and also there were small children there at midnight (strange parenting choice). It's super expensive and... fine. A novelty experience, really.

There need to be more speakeasy-style establishments in the United States. When I was a teen in the thriving metropolis of Provo, Utah, there was a restaurant called The Underground which had a false front that looked like a flower shop with four buttons to choose from, and if you pressed the right button you got into the place. I really miss it.

I was about to say i must know where this is, but then i saw it at the start after rewatching it, lol There is another one in Pittsburgh, and right next to is a milkshake factory, which i so recommend going to. Obviously, Insomnia Cookies isn't as cool but just as delicious, and where that one is, paired with a milkshake factory shake, it is amazing!
