From going undrafted to now starting for the Los Angeles Lakers, Austin Reaves has captured the attention of NBA fans everywhere ... but not many know how hard it really was for this out-of-nowhere up-and-coming star to make it from where he grew up to where he is now. In this first episode of "Traveling with C.J. Toledano," the Follow Through team went to his small hometown Newark, Arkansas (population 1,180 people) to talk with everyone who saw Austin grow up in front of them with their very own eyes and also watch the Lakers' season opener of 2023-2024 NBA season.

its interesting how in the USA every small community is a town. there are no villages. in Europe in many countries, France, Romania we have: village (same pop like Newark) then a commune who has about 3 to 10k pop, then a town then a city.
