That article was very eye opening to the tragic state of our country. As a hospitality worker myself, times are so hard. It's so difficult to see the rich get bail outs, while the rest of us are struggling to pay our bills. Thank you for bringing awareness to this situation. ❤
My little guy (two weeks younger than Jackson!) does the same thing! He will often sit straight up at night and will talk to himself. Their little brains are developing so rapidly, band night time is when most of that "work" happens! We have stopped going in to put him back to sleep as much so he can learn to put himself back to sleep, otherwise we will be settling him to sleep forever! For the last couple months when he wakes up, I will let him be for about 20-30 minutes or so... Often he will eventually settle himself back down and go back to sleep. If he starts crying or it's been longer than a half hour and he's still not settled down my husband or I will go in to rock him or give him a bottle. It's hard at first because their sleep is so important and it's natural to want to comfort and settle them, but it really is such an important life skill for them to learn to do on their own!
Love love love you guys! I think one of the cutest things is when Jen asks, “did we tell them....or did we show the,m...”. Makes it feel like we’re really hanging out with you.
On a serious note these people give us some amazing content every single day with very long videos and they don’t suffocate us with ADs. Huge shout out to you guys for that!
Well done for being responsible and careful during this terrible time. You set such a good example. Some other you tubers don't care and that makes me mad.
Do whats best for you and Jackson.. You are both doing a great job.. You can't spoil a baby with love and they ain't babies forever..between 9 mth to 18mth there sleep can be a bit disturbed due to teething and rapid brain development.. you have a great bond with him and he doesn't understand separation yet.. Have faith in your own parenting..don't worry They grow out of nearly everything .. X
Very good decision to not stay at Showcase of Citrus, some people still don’t get it and that’s concerning. Regardless this is an awesome video to see.. I almost dropped my phone when the notification dinged lol. Can’t wait for more amazing content Trackers!!! Much love and respect to you three!!
I have a 10 month who was recently sleeping AWFUL at night. Then a friend of mine gave me this amazing amazing guide about how to get your baby to sleep through the night and it worked like a charm. 1) limit the amount of stimulation before bed 2) earlier bed time, we start around 630. 3) a consistent bed time routine, I literally do the same thing every night. 4) we started doing the 5-10-15 min pop in. He was too dependent on us putting him back to sleep but he really needed to learn to do it on his own. Just some advice from another first time mom who was beyond exhausted.
I cannot suggest The Florida Project enough. It is so incredibly moving and raw. I also think it's very important you watch it considering you live near the area and are at Disney often. It will make you sob but it is so so worth it!
I agree. We watched. Then we bought it.we really liked it. Its got some of the places down the highway we've frequented and enjoy. We've gone to them all again and taken pix. And the purple motel from the movie.
I went through a similar experience where my family had to live in a hotel for a certain amount of time like Moonee and her mother. the whole movie felt so real considering that I actually did live in a hotel in Kissimmee years ago. now I live in Orlando but have an apartment, and I do go to WDW often. it’s just surreal to think how much that movie impacted me
At his age now I bet Jackson is ready to move to 1 nap a day. You might still see him sleeping on car rides too but you keep him pretty active so you could try 1 nap a day and see if he sleeps straight through the night. Love watching you folks!
Yes stay smart, and don’t let your guard down too much, my husband and I just got over the virus, and we are still having effects from it, loss of taste and smell, and migraines and fatigue, that doctors don’t know how long it will last and it was the most sick I have ever been in my life, my husbands case wasn’t as severe but still, you do not want to get it!
Glad to hear you’re both on the mend, sending continued positivity your way!! My family and I are definitely making every attempt to stay as safe as possible with this virus, it’s concerning to see people becoming complacent.
I know this video was posted MONTHS ago, but I just wanted to say how I appreciate you guys addressing the pandemic and precautions so openly in all of your videos over the last year. Obviously some of your viewers will feel the same as you do, and some won't, but it's nice to hear public figures, such as yourselves, talking about it. And it's nice to see you going out and participating in so many activities and events in a practical way - taking into consideration distancing, masking, etc. It's just refreshing. We're all going through this. The fact that you bring us into your world and how your little family is dealing with this worldwide issue just garners so much respect.
Why is it called turtle candy? It all goes back to the 1930s with companies making candies called Pecan Turtles because the pecans sticking out from the chocolate and caramel resembled turtles poking their heads out. The extra chocolate run off can form the head and tail. Nestle was issued a trademark in 1946 for a candy called "turtles".
Hey guys, Jackson’s chest clip on his car seat needs to be moved up to armpit level. If it’s any lower it’s a risk of ejection during an accident. Be sure that you can’t pinch any slack on the straps that are above the chest clip. I have a 12 month old, just trying to pass along some info. Hopefully this doesn’t come across as rude.
Bloody good on you for leaving that event, the risk for you guys contracting Corona is not worth it. Loved the rest of the vlog. Maybe next time I’m there I’ll visit Celebration 👍
After weeks of being very poorly (not Covid, don’t worry), my tired and confused brain can finally handle RU-vid videos. This is my first video in ages and what a cute video! Lots of autumnal goodness, Tracker humour and adorable Jackson. Gentle and nice. And Jackson framed by the angel wings was just perfect! One of those amazing coincidences!
That pumpkin patch is very volunteer driven, I used to help sort the rotten ones out when I was in high school, I have to believe all the profits, beyond the costs to buy and truck in the pumpkins, are going to the Community Hope Center. They're definitely a great organization that is so needed in that area!
We appreciate your videos very much. We're having a RU-vid staycation and your family is a big part of it. And the angel wings behind your son are certainly appropriate :>) Thank you for all you do! Cheers!
I love it when you talk about what you watch! I have found that many of the ones I watched that you enjoyed, I enjoyed. Great for COVID times...thank you.
My husband, 3 kids, and I used to live in one of those hotels on 192. We were there for 8 agonizing months, March 2012 - October 2012. It was a very scary time. Lots of drugs, crimes, and violence go on at those places. We ended up there after I broke my foot and was on crutches, not able to work for 2 months, then we had our tax return kept that year and didn’t want to risk bad rental history with an eviction. We never want to be evicted. I was very afraid during that time, have PTSD now because of it. We used to lock ourselves in our room just to stay safe and away from the criminals and only left for school and work. It also surprised me how expensive it is being homeless. We had the weekly room rent and the storage unit that kept all our belongings and furniture from our 4BR home. It ended up costing more then the rent, electric, and water from the home we had been renting. The sad truth is because this is often the case, once you become homeless it’s almost impossible to get out from that. Now that I’ve been laid off from Disney, I often worry about having to go back to that, and how scary that is. As of now, my family is good and we’ve been maintaining our finances well and paying all bills but there are a lot of Cast Members who have been laid off who have been struggling this whole time due to the shutdowns and now the lay offs. We were hoping that this year we would be able to move from our home in Kissimmee into a home in Orlando. Now with no job I’m keeping my fingers crossed that our landlord will renew our lease or we’ll be in trouble. It’s hard to get a place if you don’t have income even if you have money in savings. Warning: the FL project is very raunchy! But also extremely accurate. It shows the types of homeless people out there from the down on their luck trying to work hard and get out of there, to criminals and pedophiles who have no choice to live there or on the streets and their escapades. The children curse too. Keep doing what you’re doing Trackers and continue to stay safe too. Thank you for supporting these businesses to help people stay employed. 💕💕
Bravo, Jenn and Tim for leaving.... I've seen so many people not wearing masks because they are outside but they are very close. It makes me so concerned. Covid is spiking again. Thank you for protecting others and yourselves.
He's probably waking up like that because his little mind is developing so much. Also teething could wake him. You two do such a fantastic job as parents. You're naturals
Thank you for always demonstrating responsible adulting by keeping your social distance when visiting with your friends. 🙂 Also, I’m dying laughing at how animatedly chatty Jackson gets when the camera isn’t on him, like while you were eating the ice cream. It sounded like he was acting out a scene in a baby play. Haha
Brilliant acting in The Florida Project! You forget that you're watching fictional characters. The actress playing the lead Mom should have been nominated for an Oscar.
I think Jackson's chest clip might be positioned too low in his carseat. Should be at armpit level. I learned so much about carseat safety from safeintheseat on Instagram so thought I would share. You guys are great parents!
Just need to tell you that I watch many of your vlogs and you have such an adorable little guy and he is a very happy little boy-always smiling and laughing. You are both awesome parents💙
Great Vlog! Made me laugh in a few parts, Tim: I am on a diet, but still has to have the chocolate! Jenn: want to discuss series without spoilers, but then tells us it ends up happy! We are quite particular about series/films, if it is critically acclaimed and gains all the awards under the sun, we avoid like the plague, if it is slammed by the critics we watch them, we always enjoy them more! Good decision on leaving the event, that looked quite unsafe! Celebration seemed really nice! What else is there to do around there? We were saying that your Tesla does seem to be really quiet! Love Ceri x
smart idea to leave the other one, you never know how dangerous not having a mask on can be if someone sneezes right on you or your baby., which cannot wear one.
I agree, Jenn, if people are closer than 6 feet from one another, even if they are outside, they should mask up. If you are standing next to someone, you are rebreathing their air. We put my tiny 1 month old in a pumpkin and tried that picture. He hated it. Good luck. Like a sit and stand stroller where the parent can stand on the stand part, then its a powered stroller. I'd try it. I loved Hubie Halloween.
Care about y’all enough to let you know Jackson’s chest clip needs to be bumped up a little. You should be able to do the “tickle test” and run your hand across the top of the chest clip and end up tickling his arm pits. I learned all my car seat knowledge from a Facebook group called “car seats for the littles” also from the RU-vid channel “thecarseatlady”
I saw that article a few weeks ago on another RU-vid video and I found it so sad. I'm so glad you highlighted it here! I don't live in Florida and what's happening there is happening in every state. Those of us that have the means to help, we all should.
I first saw a Kilwin's in Ft. Lauderdale, and LOVED their chocolate. I picked up a card and still wishing a franchise would open here in VA. :D I think their ice cream and their chocolate is equally yum.
Perfect timing! I’m in Cali but was just looking to relocate to one of these condos on Market Street. I haven’t been to Celebration in years so thanks for the video!
We have a cooler similar to your ozark cooler and we freeze water bottles to use as ice. Then as the ice melts we have ice cold water to drink. Plus no huge mess of water to drain out of the cooler.
Tim: "Do they have powered strollers ?" Jen: ..... in her best valley girl voice.... "that seems dangerous?" 🤣🤪 Almost as funny as "you're stealing my all-in-all line" 😉 Loved this video 💓
Kilwins originated in my hometown near Nashville TN. It’s the best! They have opened several locations in FL. They did trademark the “Tuttle” name, supposedly its a family thing that the kids called turtles. 💙
Thank you for coming to the pumpkin patch-I am running it this year-so happy you came out!! Sunday oct 18th we have Spiderman 12:30-1,1:30-2 and princess day on October 25th starting at 12:30 :)
Bly Manor wasn't scary at all to me but I loved it. In the end where they said it was a love story. So right. I liked the ending. Hill House was kinda scary. Definitely more just scares. But can we talk about how the cast was the same in both! I feel like the set was very much the same too. Kinda confusing when you watch them back to back.
You can get power assist for manual powerchairs to help with hills, but if you have a long stride you are constantly catching you feet on the battery pack which sits between the rear wheels. But there's a button you press and hold and it helps with hills, but you still need to push. So inventing a power assisted buggy is not that crazy.
I think a power assisted stroller would be amazing for disabled people especially wheelchair using parents/guardians!!! The closest you can get right now is one that attached to your chair but they're crazy expensive and not ideal as you're attached to it.
Nestle holds the copyright to `turtles`. Jackson was so cute...and yes, I totally saw the angel wings...adorable! Always nice to see Jim and Nicole too.
I just love watching your theme park videos & the home vlogs (even if Jackson doesn't like Tim singing it). I just think that baby of yours is the cutest & sweetest little guy I have ever seen. Well, next to my own...but they are in their 50's. Your channel is great.
1. First of all, Jackson is absolutely precious. 2. Second, I enjoyed Hubie Halloween, too. 3. I've enjoyed the 'Evil' series much more than 'The Haunting of Bly Manor'. I stopped watching 'The Haunting of Hill House' after a couple of episodes out of boredom. I'll go back and watch it again after hearing Tim's comments. Thanks Tim!
