We Went to the WORST LAS VEGAS Shows.. according to the internet

I went to Vegas with my mom in February of 2020 and we went to a Chris Angel show because we love him and I've been watching him since I was a kid because of my mom, and we had got the cheapest tickets and while we were in line to go in, a guy came up to us and asked to see our tickets and then he gave us new tickets and we were about 7 rows from the stage

**I was chosen for one of David Copperfield's shows in 2021** It was completely random! I was with family, my mom was the one who wanted all of us to go and I was a bit apprehensive cause I didn't know the lore, but we go and around 3/4 way into the show he sets up that he'll be throwing a ball into the audience and whoever catches it comes up on stage, people were standing up waving their arms around and I did too for funsies but he ended up throwing the ball to me and I caught it. Long story short he asked me some questions about myself (where i'm from, who in my life is important to me, etc) and ended up pulling out a piece of paper that had everything I had shared about myself printed onto it, but the paper had been locked up in a box and attention was only brought to it after I had shared. I got to go on stage as well and he had me write something else on a piece of paper that he was able to predict without seeing it and after the show myself and other people who got chosen throughout the show who didn't seem like paid actors got to get a one-on-one magic trick from him (which was lame and he seemed tired but nonetheless). All in all I don't know if he has paid actors for specific bits but my experience was definitely genuine!

My friend went to a David Copperfield show last year and got called on stage. She is not a paid actor! It was the frisbee trick. Her son caught it and he used the “give it to the girl next to you script” and she went onstage and guessed the lottery number.

I actually laughed until it hurt ... the MJ section was hilarious the sh*t his pants and the unflattering slow-mo of lucas yawning... jacob, such excellent editing then

I saw Frederick De Silva when I was in Vegas and I was genuinely SO impressed and he was so nice during the meet and greet! I'm so glad you didn't find him on a worst shows list because honestly probably one of the best shows in Vegas!

I did get called up on stage at a Criss Angel show it was traumatizing lol and as soon as I was picked I immediately tried offering for the people next to me to go up.... no one wanted too....

I have an uncle that was doing magic shows in vegas for a short period of time. It faded out eventually. He has a patented magic trick, which is pretty cool. But it unfortunately didn't pan out.

Fun fact/lore. My cousins robbed David Copperfield in Florida. He told the news he did a slight of hand and hid his valuables, but my cousins got several thousand dollars, his watch, and made him cry. (My cousins are crazy btw.)

My brother (not a paid actor) was called on stage at the David Copperfield show and he made a car disappear above my brother’s head!!

Please go to a cirque du soleil show if you havent been to one before it's totally worth it. Especially the show called "O" it's mind blowing.

My first day in Las Vegas was less than 24 hours after the 2017 shooting. I was supposed to move there to live with my cousin and when the news broke there was a lot of phone calls on whether or not I should still go/if flights were canceled. When I arrived you could see the window of the mandala bay hotel kicked out where the shooter was. My cousins friend was at that concert and was shot through the arm. She’s alive but lives with that injury. Las Vegas was basically shut down and taped off and there was signs and vigils everywhere but the energy felt like ‘we’re not going to let that evil man destroy everything else’ so life continued. The whole incident was so surreal I didn’t want to move so far away from home (east coast) so I decided not to. I was 23. A year later my mom died suddenly. I’m glad I didn’t move to Vegas. I spent that last year close to home.

I can't speak for David Copperfield, but at the Criss Angel show they do bring random people on stage, not actors (my friend got picked). They just have the tricks set up in a way so that they essentially can't fail.

The first time I went to Vegas I got invited to a hypnotist show in a seedy area of town. It ended up being an x-rated hypnotist named Dr. Naughty! 🙀 I can only hope the audience members were paid actors!

But my friend was asked before the show to be apart of the show and all she had to do was hold this big purse. Over the years, I have been to every Cirque du Soleil show in Vegas. Ka is a bit crazy, but you missed the second half which is mindblowing. I do like this show. I feel the worst Cirque show is Mystere...and yes, the Beatles Love show is truly amazing!

I don’t know why people rate Ka as the worst cirque show. From the four that I’ve watched (the others being O, Mystere, and Beatles: Love), Ka has consistently been my favorite. The story is decently cohesive, the live music is both epic and beautiful, and that sand-cliff stage is just a modern marvel for the theatre world. If anything, I’d think Mad Apple at New York New York would have been rated the lowest. I still have to see it live but based on promos and clips that I’ve seen, it looks fairly standard

You have to go to a battle of the kings show! It's the best. You get fed and can get rowdy. I would highly recommend going the other country's. $80 is well worth it
