“Look around you. This place is as we will all be. Dust. Dust blown about by the wind. No more thoughts, no more conflict, no more life. Life… We cling to it. Ironic then, that it is the one thing we are destined to lose. When dust is all that remains. Hm? The point? Why do we fight? Really? We can’t win, that’s correct, but winning is not what makes one right. Just because you’re stronger, doesn’t mean you’re correct. We fight, and will keep on fighting, not because we can win. We fight because it is right. Because if we do not, noone else will, and there will only be dust left. So long as there is people left to fight, we will turn to dust, yes, but there will be others. Fight not for yourself, but for them. For a future that is more than dust.”
...and in my tears of despair. I call her name. "NOELLE!!" As I scream, a sudden burst of golden aura blast erupted between me and the monsters. And inside the crater of the blast, she stood right in the middle of it and turn her head back to take a look at me. The sore loser who forgets that she, the one who single handedly carried me all this way, is still as beautiful as I remembered her. "Leave it up to me!". Even after my neglect of her for a long time, she bears no hatred and still ever ready on my side. "Let's go, Albedo-sama!", right beside her, Albedo replies, "Uhuh!". Both leap to the horde of beasts, fearless. She may not be my most powerful ally, nor her combat ability amount to anything compared to my new friends along the way. But I'll be damned if saying she isn't reliable. She's my answer when all else fails. And so, among the pile of husks that was once a threat, she stood on top. In my long journey with her, there are indeed few types of monsters she can't reach. But at the same time, no matter what they do, they can't hurt her either. That one unit that truly deserves the nickname 'indestructible object'. "Ah! Would you like some tea?"
