You are lucky to be in Asia , there are China Japan , South Korea and Taiwan in the north , and Thailand. Malaysia. Singapore. Philippines and Indonesia in the south , you can have a lot of fun in these countries !

@rickdeckard7470 Thank you for your comment, means a lot to get some feedback. Yes i can imagine it was paradise back then in 2001, but sadly as you may be aware and noticed, the island now has been very commercialised and a lot of tourists. Still amazing beaches and snorkelling was brilliant. Walking street so run down (in our opinion). Anyway stay tuned i hope as lots more islands to explore in the deep south of Thailand . Agree , I did the same in 2003 and almost every island in the Gulf and Similians , and there are so many of these videos on RU-vid now, I'm shocked out how many people now visit these places , I remember Krabi as being a sleepy little town and almost every island in these chains had villagers maybe a choice of 4 or 5 places , I remember Koh Jum had 2 places and we all did it off ferries that stopped mid way in the Gulf and you just stepped down a ladder and got a long tail from the big ferry to the islands. Wasn't even piers on many spots, I miss those days in Thailand , I'm glad I got to go before the en masse tourism
@michaelsouthwell5429 the good old days when thailand was more raw and an adventure.. I still gor back and love it... BKK NOWis way better than 30 years ago
@michaelsouthwell5429 Sorry for our late reply. Very true comment and totally agree with you. Tourism is massive now...We love Thailand but sadly it's getting swamped with people. Great for Thailand and it's economy . We are planning our next trip...Still SE Asia... but Malaysia, Indonesia this time. Have you been there before? any recommendations would be great.
