Blessings Kaye. My Mom would have been 92 on Sept 30, instead we are burying her ashes. I was very fortunate to have a mother until I was 69 years old. She died a year ago and I still think of things to tell her. Our poor old bodies wear out. I think it is the next great adventure!! Thinking of you Kaye. Glad to hear your son is okay. I pray for my friends and neighbours in the US. Love from Canada.

Oh Kaye...you are getting hit from all sides, aren't you? I'm so sorry😢 I'm so glad your son, and Fred, are okay! Thank the Lord for that! I know how hard it is to say goodbye to your mom. The night before my mom died, as we were leaving, I thought I might not get to say goodbye to her (I was right). So I got right next to her ear, and whispered, "Have a wonderful trip! I love you," and kissed her cheek and left. We were called in the next morning, but, with 4 children (one was a 2-month-old) we didn't get there in time. It's such a comfort to know they are with the Lord. But doggone it! It's so hard to be left behind! Prayers are going up for you, dear Kaye. Much love to you!❤

I’m so sorry! I held my momma’s hand as she went to be with Jesus. It was such a hard thing and at the same time I wouldn’t have missed being by her side! I felt so honored to be there . After my momma took her last breath I was sobbing… her hospice nurse said to me, “your momma is dancing with Jesus!!” My crying turned to laughter! I found great comfort in that! Praying for you and your family!! 🙏♥️

I understand what you are going through. My mom was in hospice for a long time (at age 100!) and I didn’t know when she would pass. Anna and i visited and she bolted awake to see Anna. She passed a few days later in the middle of the night when i wasn’t there. You are blessed to have your mother❤

Yes, I've reconciled that I will likely miss it, but I will try to get back over soon. I have to get things serviced (truck, heater, Generac, chimney swept) all this week before fall. I'd forgotten she made it to 100. Mother's care is a fortune but I know I couldn't do what they are doing. Hope your mother was in better shape. Thanks!

I'm really sorry to hear that Kaye, whrn I lost my mom i was probably close to 31; she died of cancer. It may not be that comforting right now.. But I can say it appears that you've had your mother longer than many people have. Oh, Kaye!! my thoughts and prayers are with you today. It is so hard to see a parent suffering at the end of life. I’m not too far away from you just south of Nashville. Thankfully we just had lots of rain. What has happened on the east side of the state and in North Carolina is just heartbreaking. I have family in North Carolina as well.
