I always felt no more than 1/3 of retail + fees is fair for rebuildable salvage. I try to complete them for no more than 1/2 of retail. A light hit like that might be worth slightly more.
I hope we get to see you guys fix some of these. We get invested in seeing these vehicles in the walkaround but then we don't know what happened afterward. Porsche for example.
I'm not a GM truck fan but that truck looks nice. Out of the vehicles you looked at I liked the 1st 4 runner the most. The F-350 was nice too but it was pretty much the bottom of the line model. Only 1 below the STX & that's the XL. The other GM truck had to have a remote somewhere in the truck otherwise it wouldn't have started.
The initial bidding is fun and games until its the next day and you have to fix it. Lets see some more mike and ivan repairs I know you guys be making the employees do that works lmaooo
Buenos días te felicito por tus videos y te deseo muchos éxitos en tus proyectos en mi particular me fascinan las toyotas 4 Runners. Un fuerte abrazo desde Venezuela
It always amazes me how much things go for, by the time you tack on fees and repairs and then you have to sell a salvage title vehicle, seems like it wouldn’t make enough to make it worth while unless you’re fixing it for yourself
Just so you guys know that certain vehicles get bid up by "ghost" bidders and your account is run through an algorithm that pretty much knows how to get you to bid because it has your complete buying history and know what you like to buy/bid on. You haven't noticed that the other bidders are not around when you pick up your win....... and the ones that are there are picking up vehicles from a day or two prior auction and if you notice the out of the country buyers bid like no tomorrow?.....85%of the vehicles in there are totaled out just because of air bag costs and the other one are totaled out because the insurance companies know they can get more for the vehicle just for parts... vehicles are worth more as parts vehicles.thats another reason why insurance premiums are going through the roof because people go in and pay retail or better for mustangs hellcats, pick ups and suvs.... it is a rigged game and the greed is unreal....... just a heads up i can actually buy vehicles faster and cheaper from private sales of vehicles with out damage because the stealerships are not giving a fair trade value so they keep their car and sell it off the front lawn....
