For IWB, the only holster make and model I have used in the last 5 years is the Crossbred Minituck in horsehide. For pocket carry I either use the Alabama or even more spartan a MIC trigger guard cover. I have a roughneck tub full of other Kydex holsters, I will never use any of them.

After buying like 20 holsters, I found a company called Black Arch that has something called a Protos-M double clip, Protos-M Heritage, and Protos-M single clip, which are super comfy from appendix to 5oclock on my right side. It is the only hybrid holster I could find with full trigger guard and adjustable retention for my P365 X-Macro Tacops. I prefer strong side carry at my 330, and the Protos-M double works great for it. I can switch the shell out with the Heritage Backer for super hot days, and then to the Protos-M backer for cooler days. Also the shells are interchangeable, which I didn't know beforehand, so beware of that if you wanna buy. Backers and Shells are gun specific, so also be aware of that. I LOVED Alien Gear Holsters, but the one for the X-Macro does not fully cover the trigger and it is hard to re-holster. For P365XL it is my go to holster IWB 4.0 Shapeshift, but that kit does not fit the X-Macro, which is a bummer.

I’m using the Werkz M6 for my M&P 9 Shield Plus. It fits with my light attached and will allow me to add a red dot optic if I want to. Has both a claw and wedge to aid in concealment. Comfortable.

Maybe I'm crazy, and it even surprises me... But I have an issue with having a Cross on the holster. I find it disrespectful and it gives me a bad feeling. Note that I am not hyper religious and I am not asking anything be changed just to make me feel better. I expect I might be in the minority in how I feel. I just wanted to speak my peace. My metric is that a holster should have two points of contact. To dumb this down, a holster need two belt clips or two points belt loops. A single belt clip is moronic to use and is for the inexperienced.

I have a laundry basket full of holsters, here are some things I discovered: 1) It's EASY to conceal a little baby gun like a P-365 of an airweight revolver comfortably. When you carry something the size of a G-19 or bigger, it's not so easy. 2) I have replaced the word 'comfortable' in my vocabulary with 'tolerable'. When it comes to carrying a gun, saying it's comfortable is a stretch. 3) You get a Kydex holster and it prints... so you put a claw/wing on it to pull the grip in tighter... then it's stabbing you so you put a pad on the back... what you end up with is a big, thick bulky rig in your waistband. Sometimes... less is more... 4) Deciding to carry full time is like opening a can of worms. If you lack the resolve to eat ALL the worms in the can, don't open it. Carrying daily requires a high degree of commitment.

I personally would disagree with this list, and I'm surprised a holster with no retention at all even made the top 5. Where he freely admits his firearm fell out the holster.. A better list.... 1. Hidden hybrid iwb holster 2. Rounders "druid" holster 3. We the people iwb 4. Lock leather iwb 5. "Fat guy" iwb holster

Ghee here's the problem IWB single clip, the gun rotates depending on it's balance weight. IWB wide spaced dual clip, work all day moving and sitting next thing you find is your gun is hanging by 1 clip and ready to fall off. Belt loops & slots don't work with certain pants loops. Sidecar magazine pouch puts the sharp part of a magazine printing or gouging you and can't be moved.

I’ve found a plain lanyard with a butt plug tied to the end is the most reliable and comfortable way to carry, when you pop that bad boy out you know it’s go time

I’m actually a fan of the cheap kydex holsters. I just make sure there’s adjustable retention because that the biggest problem with cheap holsters. They’re not always fitted exactly right so adjustable allows you to get it to fit just right. Got a warriorland claw holster for about 30 bucks and it’s been amazing.

Milt Sparks VM-II is my IWB of choice. One for my Glock 22 the other for my 1911. Not cheap but very well made and comfortable.

I have a ton of holsters because I don’t believe reviews and wanna try them all myself. The Tulster is by far the smallest but not most comfortable. I bought one from Tucker Gunleather and it is beautiful and functional. My favorite by far for comfort, which is what we all crave, is Hidden Hybrid. The soft back is comfortable and the claw really conceals well. P365 by the way

I’ve got concealment express kydex holsters for my P365, LCP, Browning Hi Power and Colt Defender. Great holsters, but if your t-shirt is not loose, the clip can print when worn at 3 o’clock, which is where I carry.

I used to use CROSSBREED almost exclusively. But oddly enough I have found that BULLSEYE HOLSTERS has a minimalist rig that allows me to easily conceal my Springfield Armory 1911 TRP 10mm with such comfort that I can wear it all day and come home, settle into my DAD’S RECLINER and then fall asleep while still wearing it! Same rig for my Glock M29 10mm. Same results. Not expensive either.

Y. Thx. The least expensive color of polecraft (Amazon.blaze orange basket weave at the time of order)is working out good for me. 365xl. Did change the fomi to a mono block. Fomi clip was only part that printed .will check out bullseye though. Thx.

I bought that exact Alien Gear Shapeshift 4.0 IWB, specifically tailor for the Springfield Hellcat. I strongly dislike the holster for multiple reasons. For starters, the assembly feels incredibly cheap. I know most holsters are made of hard plastics, but to have the actual assembly rely on multiple interconnected hard plastic points just doesn't sit right with me. I have never printed harder in my life than I have with the Shapeshift 4.0. Even if my shirt is doing its job, my pants are suggesting I'm happy to see you. The piece that clips onto your belt is retardedly large. I can loop my belt through it almost 3 times, What the fuck? It's also perfectly shaped to catch your shirt every single time. I'm still practicing and training, but I should never have to deal with a piece of equipment that puts me in that situation to begin with. Overall, this holster has caused me significantly more stress than it has comfort of having a firearm on my person. Please save your money. I now use a 4Bros IWB holster with a wing.

Have a mini tuck and it is really disappointing for the shield with the tlr6. Might be better for the gun without the tlr6. Can't get a proper grip on the gun to draw, retention is just not right (to hard to draw) and not adjustable. Can't goes from riding to low to even lower. On top of that the rough inside of the clips cut up my belt. Build quality yes, design not so much. I wish I returned it but I needed it for a class and missed the return window, sits in the pile now.

criminals don't use holsters, they just stuff it in their pants. as for me if i have to carry a gun, i just put it in my pocket. it is always handy, there when i need it. why do holsters have to be made of thick, heavy leather? why are they making holsters that are formed around the shape of the gun. my pistol has 2 safeties so in my pocket is really safe and always there when i need it.

This video was a complete waste of time. Full of fluff and buzz words, but almost zero information about what makes one holster better or worse than others. For viewers, I just have this advice. If you’re looking for a good quality kydex holster, first make sure it is actually kydex and not polymer. Second, get one with TWO retention screws. It matters. A lot. If you come across a kydex holster with just one screw (like We the People), move on.

I use the Alien Gear Shape Shifter holster in appendix carry configuration and even use it when wearing my surf shorts. It's a great holster! Oh, that's with a Glock model 45 and red dot sights.

I don't understand how anyone can like the crossbreed... bought one and it's so stiff and uncomfortable... tried to wear it for about 3 weeks and just couldn't feel comfortable so went back to my Alien Gear shape shift... I ordered a Stealthgear ventcore though so hopefully this will be my new EDC.

For my Sig P365, the IWB holsters are nice but the abrasive grip panels on the gun tend to rub my skin while under my shirt, it would be nice to have a leather or composite backing behind the grip to prevent this. Does anyone make a holster with this design?

Exactly my thoughts on it. I have the teir one concealed and I like it it would be more comfortable though if I went with a sig p365 Spector comp compared to my Glock 23 gen 4. But I'd like to get some neoprene and mount it as a backer for more comfort behind the holster.

Lots of opinions. Lots of holster manufacturers. Imagine that, as many holster options available as there are firearms. Life is all about choices. I carry my Sig P365 all day, every day in a Tulster IWB. Have been for 5 years without issue.
