Yesss thank you. I always thought something was wrong with me for blushing because people would point it out and then it would get more intense. I've only recently learned to be kind to myself when I'm blushing and not worry what people say about it. I'm 26 years old xD

Always used to happen to me at school, and then my friends would point it out lol But now that I’m older I hardly ever blush

Thats moronic. People can have all those things and yet be confident, calm and secure, hence no blushing. Blushing is merely when an emptional trigger causes your glands to release adrenalin. That can be any external arousal like excitement, anger, sadness, happyness, awkwardness etc. I have a neurological desease and everything I do causes adrenalin and blushing. I hardly think im more empathatic than other people because I blush when I stand up.

Yes, but even deeper than that...is the subconscious reasons for blushing. Reprogramming the subconscious narratives and such, changes the sympathetic nervous system response...as our thoughts are so powerful to effect neurotransmitters, hormones and such. We change our thoughts, our bodies respond differently. Deep breathing works well too...calling the parasympathetic nervous system into action. Can’t have both sympathetic and parasympathetic going at the same time...so, the deep breathing is a good hack.

I started working in medicine in the late 90’s and I am happy to provide an excellent video, presented by an extremely respected physician, who shares a lecture regarding the conscious, subconscious & unconscious mind, and how they influence every behavior and choice. It’s powerful stuff.

You actually can learn to control it...but maybe not the way you’re thinking. Your conscious mind is logical and is what we are tuned into. Our subconscious mind is what is usually responsible for the blushing and all other realms. Additionally, the thinking patterns of the subconscious mind triggers the sympathetic nervous system and all the hormones/neurotransmitters etc and then there are shifts in physiology/emotions. Blushing is a visible physiological emotional response. How do we control this? We change the subconscious programming that contributes to this response. The narratives, internal dialogue, are what cause us to subconsciously apply meaning & our body to react. Because so much exists under our conscious, we don’t see it and don’t connect the dots. Once you dive deep and do the deep work, it is incredible how empowered you can become. Almost nothing will phase you and you will own who you are, like who you are and even if you still occasionally blush (less likely to happen, after doing core wound healing) you’ll feel secure enough to not be bothered by it at all! If I had known all this when I was younger, wow. That’s why I’m sharing with you, wish someone had told me!! omg me too, but I don't like that rudeness in me anymore, I try not to care when it happens to me. Sometimes I keep talking even if I feel like a tomato on fire and sometimes I have to shut up, be aware and accept it.

Same here. I avoided any situations where this may happen, especially public speaking or in a meeting. But as you age you realize that other people are not the champions you thought they were and slowly this trait diminishes. So whereas I used to avoid speaking I now always say yes. It is amazing how this fear fades when you face it head on.

It's not bad, is just how some people react, I tend to blush always, and when people point it out makes me uncomfortable and gives me anxiety, which is one of my insecurities, I'm just thinking of avoiding it when I'm in a situation, I guess that I have to learn and accepted as something natural and beautiful in its way.

Yes, once I went to ask for help from my extrovert classmate who I had never spoken to before He stared at me with a wide smile on his face. I didn't understand why he was staring like that - I was self conscious. Later I realized that my face was pink and I had no idea. But I think he found it cute by the look on his face.
