At age 54 I'm leaving the bows and flounces to the younger set . Ive always loved very feminine clothing but right now adding more tailoring and some masculine touches feels really great to me .
Love this! Also, I saw a post with data on the ribbon/bow trend saying it's *already* losing steam in favour of other trends. Though I do like that there really seems to be a bit of something for everyone out there at the moment :)
I'm also looking forward to the white dresses trend as I plan on getting married this spring! I'm planning on wearing some classic workwear pieces rather than a wedding gown because we're getting married by the clerk at the local courthouse. Perhaps it could be a simple white dress with a cream blazer, or white trousers and blazer. I'm excited to see what Everlane and a few of my fav workwear brands come up with for this trend now! Congratulations on your engagement! What a wonderful time - you must be so excited for your upcoming nuptials. I love this - have seen quite a few brides to be wearing some of these more elegant styles that aren't quite as formal as a traditional gown. Those little bar style jackets (a la Dior, but not quite so expensive) are really chic! x

Hi, I need your opinion on something! If you had to pick between the Sézane low Libby boots or the Sam Edelman penny, which one would you get? They are equally comfortable, I am just working on building a forever wardrobe! Thanks
I am so sorry it's taken my a fortnight to get back to you! Hmm I really think it depends as they're both different looks. The Sezane boots feel a little more Glastonbury/modern/grungy, whereas the Sam Edelman ones are a little more classic, equestrian. I would go with the pair whose qualities align most with your wardrobe or would be the most interesting to you :)
