Thabk you for the details on sizing. And for doing a full on test (walking everywhere). I'm at the point where I can't waste money on hype or uncomfortable sneakers anymore. So this matters!
Wow thank you so much for this comment! Your response is exactly what I wanted people to feel watching this video: knowing everything they need to know about this show from comfort to style and everything in between! Thank you! - Frankie
Thank you so much for checking out the video! And awesome that you have two pairs!!! I’m looking to get the second Inside Voices colorway sometime soon 🙏🏽 - Frankie
Such a good review! Thank you! I took three L's on the recent Action Bronson 990v6's. Been feeling like I wanted to hold out for the Bronsons. I got an amazing deal on the Bodega 9060's that I couldn't say no to but wondered if I really am compromising on comfort with the 9060 versus the 990v6. I haven't worn my Bodega 9060's yet but I'm glad to know that they're a 🔥 release and incredibly comfortable as well!
I recently went to my local new balance store and would like to share my experience. For reference, I’m a true sz 9.5 across all brands (there’s usually a 1 finger gap in the heel when my toes are all the way in front). At the store, they have this machine that measures your foot for the most precise sizing; my foot came out to be a 9.5 and normal width (as expected). Upon trying some 574’s and 990’s, I realized the 9.5 was the perfect fit. However, once I tried on the 9060’s I noticed that they fit bigger than normal. Although the typical 1 finger gap was there, I noticed that the toe box of the shoe was much wider than normal shoes (similar to a pair of Air Forces). So I dropped down to a sz 9 which fit a bit more snug, but felt better than the 9.5 ! Although I don’t own a pair yet, I assume the material will loosen up and mold to my foot with wear. So to sum it up, if you are in a similar situation as me then drop a half size down. Best advice I can give besides my experience is to simply go try them out !
Shouldn't that be that other way around, that's what all shoe sellers told me all the time. When you're heel is all the way to the back, 1 finger space for your toes. You don't wanna fuck them up by having the shoe cram them together.
Loved this review. Thanks for the comment this is what I was looking for as I just ordered my first pair in the Turtledove colorway. I was thinking of getting a 12 instead of 11.5. I like my sneakers to fit a little snug vs fitting perfectly then becoming too loose after a few wears. So, I went with the 11.5 despite other reviews saying stick to true to size.
I love the design of the shoe and received loads of compliments the few days i had them. However driving in these shoes almost felt like driving with heels lol the back heel design made it uncomfortable for me. The back of my ankles was being poked by the double arches as I drove and that made it even more uncomfortable. I prefer a shoe with more flexibility but i do love the design of the shoe.
What you felt on the 9060 is warranted. The heel's cushion bottoms out quick to a plank-feel for stability and that I believe is by design as they are chunky shoes.
Grabbed these yesterday in Rain Cloud/Castlerock colorway. I noticed these on someone last week and loved them. This video was one of quite a few about the 9060s I was looking at and decided to just get them! So thank you for posting! These are a crazy hot item, since I grabbed them in my size - the last pair, at JD Sports about 12 miles from me (location down the street sold out in my size). Love these!! Anyway...sizing I am find a bit tricky with NBs. I am also a 10.5, my 992...no question I could have grabbed them in 10. And I did try these 9060, different color of Black/Castlerock in Size 10 just to get an idea. I PROBABLY could have pulled it off..loosen the laces, but worried they may be too snug at times in the toe box area..and especially when its gets colder out and I'll have thicker socks on. So I played it safe and went with 10.5.These will be just fine. I'll wear these today, first full day. Just psyched to have them!
So excited to hear about your experience with them and how excited you are to have a pair of 9060s. The rain cloud colorway is especially clean! - Frankie
Great review, solid even. I'm a size 10 with somewhat of a wide feet and i went half size down because in my regular size it did felt big especially when walking, felt like i'm lifting the shoe instead. Hoping it will widen itself over time, thanks a lot. Been eyeing on it and finally picked it up today.
Thanks so much for the comment! Thanks for sharing your sizing experience with us too to help out others who are interested! What 9060s did you pick up and will you get more!?
@@solexsoul probably the only new balance that i went half size down. Picked up the burgundy ones and yes will definitely get more in the future in a less loud colorway, thanks again man.
I walked in mine all day at Hershey Park and my pair looks new like I never wore them. I think your weight and the way u walk cause the wear and tear on the heal.
Hahahaha! That’s real! The 2002R is one of my favorite silhouettes but this 9060 has me hooked on it that I’ve forgotten about wearing the 2002Rs I’ve copped this year! - Frankie
Appreciate the kind words!! The t shirt I got a while back and I can't remember what site it was. If I find the link I'll be sure to drop it in here! - Frankie
George Jetson shoes with rocket blasters at the heel. Future dad vibes. Is it at all possible the sole separation was due to the laces being untied? Maybe you're just unlucky with your specific pair, or could it be a general problem of this model?
George Jetson! Appreciate you commenting! It is definitely possible it may have been happened with me going for a looser feel. It could have also happened from improperly taking the shoe off. And I think because it was only one shoe and not both that this problem was apparent makes me feel like it’s user error on my part and not indicative of the material and construction of the shoe. - Frankie
Great review! I am 6'8" 375 so I know that my shoes just don't last as long as some folks, but I can't rock with a pair of kicks that wears out after 2-3 weeks. I have had luck with most NB, but there have been a couple that just break down and get super uncomfotable after about a month. Shockinly Nike running shoes have lasted the longest for me, and when I am walking a lot or working out, they are def my go to. But they are built for a lot of abuse, so it makes sense.
Thanks for the comment! It's interesting. I've long gone to Nike running shoes prior to my "obsession" with New Balance over the last three years and there have been some Nike running shoes that are great out the box, but then a month or two later, they just start feeling uncomfortable. Maybe it could be the models for the both of us that we are using. I'm glad the 9060 still has the same comfort, and more recently, I have been putting the 990V6 to work and it's holding up nicely! - Frankie
@@sahilmaurya4989 tbh I’m usually 10 10 1/2 or if the shoe runs tight an 11 with this one after wearing it for a month now I feel as tho as 11 is the perfect size for me
A light bristle brush is going to be your best friend in this situation. Brands like Reshoevn8r offer a kit that comes with those brushes in tow - Frankie
the shoe tore because your overweight and have really bad walking posture , you can see the shoe Torqueing down around the ankle and heel really weirdly because of the way you walk . fix posture lose weight and correct form will fix those issues . i bet you wear the heel on your shoes off to one side .
you are so rude. sometimes this is not because of weight. My cousin's chiropractor told her it was a hip issue and she couldn't fix the shoe going inward unless she fixed her hip.
My take is I'd lean more towards a performance shoe from New Balance like the Fresh Foam X 1080 for example. 9060s are more of a lifestyle wear shoe - Frankie
The durability isn't good if it can't handle 10k steps. That's literally 1 day worth of walking and the rubber is busted. I was gonna pay resale but not anymore
top shoe i have question how is the fit with the size ? half size up or half size down ? im wearing the nb 992 in size 42/5 and the nb 991 in 43 witch size you think i need to take for this model ?
Thanks for the comment! I went a Size 10, which is a half size down from my true size of 10.5 because in a lot of Made in USA NB models, I go a size 10. Size 10 fit well for me, and I like a snug fit, so if that's what you like, then go half size down. If not, stick to your true size - Frankie
Fit wise they are comfortable and great but cushion is another. While one can think the optics of the sole construction tends lends it to be well cushioned and responsive, they are not. Footbed and cushioning tends to be on the stiff-er side of things. The amount of give on the sole is short and stops/bottoms out to a plank-ish feel thus making it very stable. The bottoming-out-to-a-plank-feel is more on the heel and not on the forefoot, so if you walk with a pronounced heel-strike you might feel an initial discomfort. All that made it a weird feel at first wear, at least for me, as the shoe's appearance look to be more on the cushion-y side. BUT since I am a fan of more stable shoes with good ground feel vs squishy, I adopted to the 9060 naturally. Tho it's no where near as plank-feeling as the 1500s. So in a way, the 9060 is a good mix of looks, acceptable cushioning, great fit/comfort and good stability.
Yeah I know the back sole is a dealbreaker for many. I can't speak highly enough about the comfort level of these though so I think because of how comfortable my feet are, I'm able to look past the very out there design of the heel. - Frankie
I have the baby blue color way with beige instead of the freaky pink. But I also bought the adidas ZX 5k boost at the same time. My conclusion is the ZX5k boost is more comfortable
Thanks for the comment! Is this the shoe you’re referring to by the way?! www.amazon.com/New-Balance-FuelCell-Rebel-Medium/dp/B08VGL1JM4/ref=asc_df_B08VGJK4ML/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=533171739994&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=15853865111380424318&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9004168&hvtargid=pla-1383817668391&psc=1&th=1#
10k steps is nothing, you’d walk that much during a day out to Disney land. Or if you go abroad and explore city’s that’s just one outing. Seems rather poor durability if after essentially one wear it’s falling apart
Thanks for the comment! Definitely questioned the durability after that 10,000 step challenge but one thing I should’ve mentioned. I was improperly taking off the sneakers and pulling at that section of the heel tab so damage was to be expected. I just didn’t realize it until I was in the middle of that challenge and this was towards the end of the 30 days! I got a new pair of 9060s and the sole is glued on perfectly - Frankie
Appreciate you commenting on the sizing! How’s it been like for you? I really thought that I would end up regretting going a half size down but that wasn’t the case for me. - Frankie
UGH , NEW balances are ugly , majority of vloggers i watched they only vlog jordans and new balances 🤮 i mean how in d world new balance became hyped again 😅
Yeah it was pretty apparent 🙈. I like to have notes in front of me because I don't want to miss out on an important element or key detail and for this video, the positioning of my notes was clearly way off the camera - Frankie
So right from the beginning your review is biased cause of course you're a RU-vidr/influencer and so you have to get a special edition❗😕 So goes the wearability part... 👋🏻 And basically we should call them the New Balenciaga 🙁
This is a dumbass comment coming from a dumbass the wearability doesnt matter hes saying any model looks good with any fit. If you cant make that work just say that
