Now you can see the on-air version and see what was going on behind the scenes. Latest weather forecast videos (although not quite as funny) -- www.fox13now.com/weather
I have ended up being sucked into a youtube rabbithole of weather people videos. and i keep seeing this meme being commented. please enlighten me? whats the meaning?
Daughter Speaking: Yeah, I would've laughed thru it like, "A-And over *laughs* here we have some- *laughs* low thunderstroms- *laughing* I can't, I'm sorry! Okay okay, ahem, then over here- *LAUGHS*
Actually, he does have visual aids to help guide him on where to point or gesture. That's what the monitors on either side of the green screen facing him are for.
Weatherpeople have screens facing them showing the digital overlay in real time, but they're very good at making it look like they can see and interact with the blank screen behind them.
Lol I thought the same thing until I learned what a projector was and then I was convinced that these were done against a screen with a projector from behind lol 😂😂
I think this was a great place to work at for that guy. Based on all reactions he was liked and he liked the others, they had fun working there, not biting each others head off.
Except for the producer who stink eyed the prankster into stopping. She ended the fun when clearly the weatherman didn’t need any help to get the job done.
He doesn't seem to be the same dude reporting the actual news, he appears to be more focused and dedicated to weather forecasts. It's light-hearted and not to be taken seriously.
This guy did very well with the joke. I could see the persons interactions without the camera showing the person being there. The little 'glitches' give it away. I wish more fun stuff like this would happen in news broadcasts.
2014: It's still early. 2015: there is still a lot missing 2016: there is still a little bit to be done 2017: it's not your time yet 2018: we are close 2019: we're almost there 2020: little time is missing 2021: now is your time.
@@Dat-Mudkip I agree, although I tried it a couple times and it's really not that difficult to pick up on. The talking imo is harder! :D (you have to be clear, consistent, enunciate properly, have the right pacing etc...)
For a moment, I'm baffled as how could we see through that weather guy when he's putting that prankster's hand over him. Then I realized that the background screen is a green screen too. I never know that the background displaying weather reports is a green screen.
modern studios use really large touch screens, so they can interact with the display without relying on someone else. But that wasn't feasible until the last decade or so.
K B well they probably have to turn to look at the “screen” and if it was a real screen it would damage their eyes a lot more because of how close they are
Imagine this. The weatherman knows something is up and is expecting a prank so he has something ready for them incase he gets pantsed. He wears bright green boxers and has his legs painted bright green so half of him disappears on camera
Great job not losing it during his segment, wonder if it was retribution prank for something else. I’ve heard of a prank on a red headed lady news caster that turn her extra red, which in turn about drove the unknowing studio technician crazy trying to get the colours balance adjusted on the new camera.
Because the BBC never do pranks and stuff on live television. Even during the weather segment. It’s boring asf and it just makes me wish they did something like that, even for once.
@@LazyIRanch It's why our local news like Fox 13 and KSL is just about the only news I watch/listen to these days - it actually feels like they're human beings.
@@commoncense838 I felt like it would've been funnier if it was another guy doing it. Since she was doing it, it was funny just felt like could've done more
@@commoncense838 I mean, if the intention was cruel or sexual, sure, it wouldn't be workplace appropriate, regardless of gender. But I don't think the point? From what I saw it was just the weather anchor distracting the forecaster. Did I miss something??
if i were the guy is the green screen suit i would of messed with the weather man's hair so to the people watching it would look like his hair was floating
@@nullbeyondo I think it’s less that and more someone just randomly tickling, poking, and touching you while you’re trying to do your job. He doesn’t even know who it is
