Hey man, I was wondering when you contacted Bear Family a few years back about a Webb Pierce '60s set if they ever got back to you. I just emailed them about issuing Moon Mullican's King and Starday catalogue and they got back to me and said "it's not in our current plans but it's worth considering in the near future..." Did they say the same thing to you and are they just putting me off?

I got many replies from Bear Family over the years and most were like that, the last time about 3 or 4 years ago I was told that obtaining the master tapes would be next to impossible and I think that's because of the massive fire that destroyed THOUSANDS of master tapes back in June 2008. Even if the masters still existed I doubt they or anyone else would do a Webb 59' - 69' box set because the demand just isn't there.. I had hopes for 25 years but it's over.

@@2packs4sure Since they did ones on Jimmie Skinner and Frankie Miller, I wouldn't think they would have a problem with Moon. I'm going to try to do what you do with Webb Pierce on my channel except issue Moon Mullican videos to try to get more people to email Bear Family to get them to issue Moon Mullican's catalog. The only problem is that Gusto records has exclusive control over the King and Starday masters, but I don't think this is as much of a problem since they've issued Cowboy Copas, Frankie Miller and Jones's Starday catalog. I just need more people to ask them

I feel it in my soul I´m lonesome for some real country music, old country, you know the soul/heart healing music, not this modern stuff which is like the movies one watches and wonders arterwards ´why did I waste my time watching this sh₶ ? lt leaves nothing behind !´
