@@snakemansnakes1 Hey I'm glad you enjoyed it and I am well, I am keeping it country, I just went through the hurricane Beryl here in Houston,, 6 days without power,, WOOF was it HOT,, lol,, but that's behind me !!
Awesome classic! I'm a life-long classic country fan, and even though I haven't commented that much on your channel, I've checked a lot of your uploads out. I just wanta say you've got some really good classic stuff - thank you so much for keeping real country alive; it is MUCH appreciated.
I love this album. Thank you for keeping his music alive. People sometimes live through music and it’s ashame we don’t hear words as these. This country wouldn’t be so corrupted and evil if people would live through these words of “ if Jesus came to your house “. Webb Jr and I thank you so much. Michelle Pierce
Man I wish I could start the journey you're describing all over again,, it was fun !! I still make a discovery now and then but they're few and far between these days...
@@2packs4sure I've been listening to country music all my life, nearly 80 years. It surprises me that I find songs I've never heard before. Or, maybe I have heard them before and I forgot them.
Fue una época dorada, soy Argentino y creci viendo sus peliculas. El mundo ha cambiado para mal. En esos qños en Argentina se vivia miy bien y feliz, pero todo cambió
Well here it was again; had to listen! I hope you’re doing well! Because I’m now 1000 yrs old ; I can’t recall if I told you I finally got a card in the mail, then a phone call stating I had an appointment with an orthopedic doctor for my fractured elbow on July 6 … the appointment was for December! I told them my elbow was as healed as it was going to be since it happened in July! That aside; I really just love this song! I hope all is well with you ,
The Willie Nelson RU-vid channel has it. I wish I could enjoy that album and I bought it when it came out but for me at least Webb after 1971 and especially after 1976 isn't for me.
@@2packs4sure I hear ya, John. I still may have the album somewhere, I think. I prefer Webb in his early years. I have a cassette with some good stuff on it from early on, the kind of Webb style I really like. Thanks for your post. 👍
@@janiceastets5425 I'm actually a little jealous of people and there are plenty of them who love Webb's mid-seventies stuff on Plantation,,, those remakes which I can't tolerate at all,,,, they like the later Webb,, but for me it's a no go.. I like to imagine what the Willie and Webb album would have been if Webb would have been in his mid 60's form,,, that would have been an amazing album!!
@@2packs4sure Yes, so true! But I have to say he doesn't sound too bad on "Wondering" with Willie. I remember that I really didn't play the other songs too much, though. I'm a die-hard old-time country music buff & I'm a stickler for the "original songs" most of the time. This week I found some good stuff from Hank Snow on you-tube, so I played his music for a while. I love his stuff & listening to that Martin guitar he plays. You don't hear that kind of good country today, unfortunately. 😕
@@janiceastets5425 Well I agree,, Webb doesn't sound too bad throughout the album,, he just doesn't sound that good,, although I really liked Heebie Jeebie Blues, that was fun.. And I really like Hank Snow in his prime, I have Breakfast with the Blues on my jukebox...
I have no memory of hearing this song until now! I’m just getting old! I most certainly enjoyed hearing it! I love Ernest Tubb’s voice ! Thank you for having it here; right below the song I just listened to! I hope you’re doing well John or whoever you are! 😉🎶🎶🎶❤️❤️🎶🎶🎶
Lol,, well,, stranger to me,,,,,,,,,,,,, I do that all the damn time now that I'm in my 60's,, thinking I've NEVER heard or seen something but I probably have so,,, I quit saying "I've never".............. Now I say now what you said,,, "I have no memory of hearing that"... That covers it.. I wanna say Ruth but it's rude to take guesses !! :)
@@2packs4sure Forgetting is a sure sign of being old, and so are other signs! I have a friend, musician who could never remember my name; one of my friends told him just call her Dr. Ruth… he’s never forgotten and introduces me to everyone as Dr. Ruth! Oh, I surely get asked a lot of questions, to which I reply, “ I don’t know, I can’t remember.”😁 I have to get up early to drive to the VA clinic and be there at 7:45 in the morning! It’s about a 40-45 minute drive. Have a good evening, stay safe and carry ID in case you forget who you are! 😁
