Would this work with an elastic webbing? I'm trying to make a longer removable spats that attach to a rain paints longer. They connect with a snap on each side. I was thinking about cutting the spats and make a longer one with snaps but I'm not sure if I can find the snaps to attach that would connect to the pant snaps. So I was gong to make it longer and reconnect the snaps that come with the removable spats and use this ladderlock buckle to adjust as needed.
Hi Austin, If you want to hold that much weight I would go with this webbing adjuster instead. It will hold more the 500lbs and is stainless steel: www.sailrite.com/Star-Webbing-Adjuster-1-by-Suncor The webbing will not slip from its grip.
