The Georgia Open Records Act, or Georgia Sunshine Law, is a series of laws designed to guarantee that the public has access to public records of government bodies at all levels in Georgia. As representatives and extensions of the local government Main Street programs and Downtown Development Authorities must know and comply with the regulations in the same way that any department of the local government would.
