Conceptual mass modelling for Revit and Civil 3D users
What is a Conceptual Mass?
This Revit utility allows users to create objects in a fast and easy way, with the goal of obtaining an abstract object through which we will be able to conceptualise a project.
The conceptual mass can be easily adjusted to produce the desired size, shape and form. The mass is then generated into elements like walls, floors and roofs.
In this webinar we will start by demonstrating the difference between in-place conceptual masses and conceptual family masses.
Following this, we will be using Revit to produce a conceptual mass for a project (eg. pedestrian bridge).
Starting with a Civil 3D surface in Revit we will create the bridge using in-place mass components. On completion, the bridge will be exported as a .dwg file and then xref'd onto the original surface in Civil 3D.
