I’ve just found your wedding videos....and understand the wait. It was 1976, and I was 32 and Albert was 25 years old when we committed to one another, and being a dual citizen, waited for two years to go from province to Royal Assent nationally., and another decade for US national recognition. Yes, we chose to marry when we did because our now 17 year old son was born that year. We are now in our 44th year together., or 15, 858 days. I remember my emotions as we exchanged vows and danced our first dance....THE WONDER OF LOVE by the British singer. It will sustain me, today at 75 years old unto my last breath with his name and our son’s on my lips.
I fell in love with how Paul got overwhelmed when he saw Gareth enter the room and how he held his hand throughout the ceremony. I loved how Gareth had that confident smile throughout even when he must feel so many emotions. Loved how they whispered to each other, calming, supporting words I believe. Loved it all. I want all that for myself 🙂 congratulations guys ! Have a very happy, eventful and exciting life together !

Gareth, when you saw Paul coming in with his Mum giving him away to you, was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen in my life ..and you cried ..I would have done too. Milly LasMandy aw wow thanks so much! Yes it was me Gareth, walking in with my mum. It was so special to me as she has Alzheimer’s so I was worried she wouldn’t be able to, but she was incredible I love her so much. And Paul has only cried three times in the 17 years we have been together and that meant a lot to me as I could so how happy he was. Thank you for your kind words and you will of course find the same special love one day! And I love Tokyo by the way! One of my favorite cities I’ve ever visited! Xxxx
Gareth and Paul.....With the COVID-19 pandemic, Albert and I are celebrating our 44th year together with our son, home from university as all US universities are shut down for online classes and empty dormitories months before end of term. Of course, we are writing to all those we hold dear to ask how you are faring under the circumstances. I pray that you and yours are well. + Raymond

just found you - you're both an inspiration, as are your parents. Really hope you consider adding monthly updates as a coupes channel.... helping spread the word of acceptance. Maybe just a daily vlog, or a long weekend away, and holiday (vacations) if you felt you could share. Helping the youth of today to understand same sex love is ok, and hate as no place in 2020. Hoping to see more.
