Wedding Chapel OLD AC SYSTEMS NOT COOLING merch = teespring.com/... / stevenlavimoniere lavimoniere productions llc subscribe to my channel / @stevenlavimoniere lavimoniereplum...
I remember those units. Last time you worked on that Magic Chef unit it was over charged and the compressor was sweating up. I remember you putting Nylog on the king valves on the Sanyo unit due to them leaking.
Dearly beloved we are gathered today at the shit show.. say a hello to Jed clampette and to all the helicopter type hovering around...she's a crusty one momma she's a crusty one we even have a special guest the grinch and now back to the damsel in distress!!!wonder if they are gonna be doing any body bumps tonight after the ceremony eh molly!!
I remember people passing out in church when I was a child. There were two large floor standing fans running full blast during mass. The priest had to turn up the volume whenever he spoke so that you could hear him over the roar of the fans. In those days, you were considered wealthy if you had a color TV and a window unit. We had neither.
Reminds me of the church I went to as a kid. The central A/C broke down and the church didn't have the funds to get it fixed. They had pedestal oscillating fans that were not that loud and kept a breeze going.
those and the Tappen units, the cond fan motor was a treat to change! But I do have to say, they didn't need much repair. To clean them I had to get under to get all that shit off the coil. You where lucking if kids didn't use them for a seat and smashed the coils. But I bet it still has the org cap in it.
yah right i will never work for a church again!!!all the reverands, pastors, preachers, all drive fancy cars and have nice homes but never put money back in the church!!!!they all say that...oh i wanna just get it working for the weekend or oh i just want to get it working for this year...does this lady have a car from the 70's that she drives on a daily basis???
That old unit is living at right place a Church someone above has to keep it a live for the first unit the second unit it give its life, about time for a upgrade as R22 goes away and it's cost goes up one they will be out of luck.
The wall thermostat looked a lot like the one we had many moons ago. Been through two furnaces since then. What a relic. Nice of you to help her out. Time to prepare her for the next one.
----- Its a great unit only used on Sundays ------ (joke) Thinking of that old used car salesman's Line or Expression "This car was owned by a little old lady from Pasadena who only used it to drive to church on Sunday"
Every Church I've ever been to in New England has never had AC. You just made sure you got a seat under the ceiling fan. Of course I'm speaking narrowly of only Catholic and Lutheran Churches.
One of my customers has a 1974 Lennox split unit. Runs like a champ. I go by there and clean the condenser each spring and give it the old gundy. It's like a Timex.
just because it's empty they have to replace the system????????? AHHHHH maybe find the leak? or is it to costly to refill it with R22? is it R22 I don't think he said?
17:52 you not familiar with how to find and repair refrigerant leaks bro? that compressor is running, otherwise you wouldn't be pulling into a vacuum, fix that leak and get it running ya bum LOL!
He just did a long video and explained why it's not worth finding and repairing leaks on R22 units. Especially in that ceiling mount mini split? She'd be spending 80% of the cost of a new one on parts (if they're even available), labor, and the recharge!
A 2000 Sanyo R22 system?! get out of here with that garbage talk. It isn’t even worth an hour of leak searching. You know it’s most likely in one of the coils and no way there is a replacement. Plus the cost of r22 and it’s all around a bad decision.
@@MookieMan1 you must be a young kid with a LOT to learn, flare connections are where you'll find that leak in about 10 seconds, apply yourself a little more, kid.
Oh yeah, clutch those peals, go to your fainting couch. You new here? “Always enjoy your videos” - you couldn’t have watched more than 5. Off-color quips are sprinkled everywhere, and they’re part of the channel’s charm which is value-add. Don’t like his quips, then stop watching.
@@dock_yard1149 I've been watching Steve's videos for years, rarely miss one and am definitely not over sensitive. Stop giving me crap just cause I thought that comment was too far. Don't care about the mild jokes and love his personality, that's why I watch. It just didn't need to be said. Have a great night
I have a goodman split system. 2 ton, manufactured in 1996. Here in the south. Im surprised its still running. I wonder what the efficiency is of something that old?
