The Rains of Castamere (from Game of Thrones - the Red Wedding scene) performed by Vera Vartova and Karel Novotny from Sporkovo Trio band during a Wedding ceremony in Prerov nad Labem Open-air Museum, Czech Republic (30.8.2014)
***** I believe the groom did. Didn't you notice the look in his eyes when he turns his head and suddenly his bride like grips his arm? lol I think her last name was Lannister xD
I'm amazed at how nobody run like hell away from the wedding when the song started XD. And you guys were holding a wedding in a lovely medieal-ish village too XD
MariusThePaladin I would have a regular wedding like with Ave Maria, canon and all that and then close to the end of the party (after we've made our bows and eaten) have someone play this
@@eduardorodriguezvazquez5120 *Lady Stark moans in despair* *cuts FreyWife's throat* *gets throat slashed from behind* *falls to the ground with wonderful sound effects*
Well, my mother (playing the violin) have seen the Red Wedding scene. Apart from her (and my soon-to-be-wife of course), there were at least five people who knew the Game of Thrones and recognised the music. The guy with the camera knew it was coming and was waiting for it. :-)
This is actually so very wholesome. With this few people and close friends and the badly tailored suit... I came here for a laugh and went away with an awww. I wish all the best for the couple
I can't believe I am searching for songs for my wedding and for fun I wrote rains of castamere and this video was the first one and it is in the same place I will have wedding. Love it!!!
I'd like to see if they were to do a Game of Thrones Red Wedding Themed Wedding. A fake of Course, a ceremonial stab of all the attendees at the brides bosom for a healthy pregnancy, and the father in-law, will ceremonially stab the groom saying their surname adding the words send their regards.
And who are you? The proud lord said That I must bow so low Only a cat of a different coat That's all the truth I know In a coat of gold or a coat of red A lion still has claws And mine are long and sharp, my lord As long and sharp as yours And so he spoke, and so he spoke That lord of Castamere But now the rains weep o'er his hall With no one there to hear Yes, now the rains weep o'er his hall And not a soul to hear And so he spoke, and so he spoke That lord of Castamere But now the rains weep o'er his hall With no one there to hear Yes, now the rains weep o'er his hall And not a soul to hear
damn I didn't realise the similarities, if coldplay were playing I would've legged it lmao. the lead singer of coldplay did a cameo as one of the band members playing the song in the show.
I really hope there is at least one person attending the wedding who knows Game of Thrones. I just imagine him/her sitting there like: 'Shit's about to go down."
The best time to pull this trick off is at the reception more so than the ceremony. Have it done also when the previous song was upbeat, and everyone was really enjoying themselves. Have the lights go really dim, get a few guys in with fake bows, and huge amounts of fake blood thrown everywhere. Now that would be fun lol
If my sister ever wed someone, I'll make sure to pay the orchestra to play Rains, starting the moment I give the signal. The signal? Me going up to the groom and saying "The Lannisters sends their regards"
